    Just FYI the legal size for kob in stilbaai or anywhere left of agulhas is 60cm and only 1 per day

    • @FishingBruZA
      @FishingBruZA  2 года назад +1

      Yes, we returned quite a few that would normally be eaten. If I am not mistaken, I cant recall more than one cob brought home between 5 of us. Anyway, thx for your interest and sharing the regulations. Much appreciated.👍 Maybe a good idea for a video in the future.

    How can you say in your bio you promote conservation but you dont practice catch & Release. Bru
    You're not conserving when you showing the public where and how to futher destroy our fish pops and then also set an example in your vids of how you keep all your fish for the pan.
    Bag limits are out dated and just because there is a bag limit, it's not a necessity to fill it!

      Willy, if you have a problem with a law abiding licensed recreational fisherman, whom does not transgress or circumvent the law, you seriously need to reflect on your motive to try and negatively comment here. Please direct your anger at where it's necessary, don't be afraid to touch the nerve of large scale poaching, your governments in-ability to police and selling out our resources to foreign fishing fleets, the pollution and destruction of our rivers and sensitive echo systems and large scale developments both formal and informal in catchment areas that feed these echo systems. By addressing these issues you will make a huge and lasting difference for generations to come and hopefully contributing recreational fisherman who spend huge amounts of money and time to be able to practice our sport/hobby will have fish to catch in the future.
      I will continue to strive to be a better content creator than I am a fisherman no matter who trolls my best efforts.
      Thx for your comments and concerns, it is dully noted.

      @@FishingBruZA I can see from your writing that you are quite ignorant to the situation we are facing, every one of us should try and make a difference. True fisherman that have a passion for ocean conservation handle fish with care and respect and release them to swim again and procreate.
      One day you'll go to your favourite spot, and not only will you find someone fishing it. You and him wil catch nothing and only have vague memories of the great fishing that was once had.

      @@willie1220 I suggest again that you turn your efforts to where it matters. Stop being a troll. I do understand how you must feel. I also know you are the type to buy your fish from a shop and that makes it OK because you paid for it, yet you call me ignorant. God forbid a recreational fisherman keep a fish but commercials take a shoal in one go. But you OK with that? Anyway, again, thx for your comments. I appreciate any and all's views.

      @@FishingBruZA I dont eat fish.
      Don't use the current law system as an excuse to disrespect the ocean.
      You'll have a whole community on your back about this, giving away tricks of the trade and locations!
      Anyway that's all i have to say. Cheers
