    I’m all for diversity on screen reflecting the same percentage as society. You only have to look at adverts to see how far the other way things have gone. Apparently every single couple is a white woman and black man. I don’t know one mixed race couple.

    Wasn’t it better when the news was at 6, 7 and 10pm. The 24 hour news doesn’t give time for proper research, things are reported instantly with no waiting for confirmation, then everything is regurgitated over & over again all day.

    I suppose it couldn't have been anything to do with the fact that Croxall blatantly and rudely made a mockery of the BBC's supposed "impartiality" rules ?

    • @MickeyMouse-ul2zs

      Hardly - the BBC just laugh at those particular "rules".

    • @hattmarvey1989
      @hattmarvey1989 7 месяцев назад

      Her "impartiality" was against Boris, the Conservatives and Trump. The BBC would hardly disapprove of that, quite the opposite.

    For what other possible reason would the BBC have gotten rid of Ken Bruce and his radio 2 show with Pop Master quiz every weekday? By far the most popular radio show in the UK with the most loyal consistent listeners? Other than he was an old, white , heterosexual man? Ken Bruce was the only person left on BBC that people would go out their way and stop what they were doing at 10:30am each day to tune into amd the got rid of him.

  • @SharonChant
    @SharonChant 7 месяцев назад +2

    BBC ageist git rid of presenters in favour for younger

  • @stevenoneill7166
    @stevenoneill7166 7 месяцев назад

    The BBC has always been ridden with double standards, even in the 70's & 80's when it were held in much higher regard by the public.
    It's more ageist now than ever before. I think BBC bosses must've seen the film "Logan's Run" - where people get bumped off when they reach the age of 30 - & decided to do their own variation on that idea.
    Their box-ticking, woke agenda will be downfall. The number of posts I've read here on RUclips alone underline how much the BBC are loathed by so many.
    Finally, on a lighter note, I wouldn't mind taking that lady doctor out to dinner ! 😄
