  • Mrs. Ehlke will lead you step by step through a painting of Neurographic Art.
Neurographics is a way of drawing that recreates the outer from the inner. The world is a reflection of the beliefs we hold. ... The outer world, and the experience it engenders, is projected from within. There is no one who does not judge and interpret that world, most often from a bound and binding perspective.

I find a real peaceful place when I paint these on small watercolor pages and have come up with a fun idea on how to use them. I’m an acrylic abstract artist that likes to do many layers of paint, adding some and removing some. The end result is parts of my neurotrophic painting peeping through. I believe that that the peaceful vibes created with this process get infused into the energy and vibration of the finished piece. Little mini therapy sessions! 🙃

Late to the party on this one, but THANK YOU! I didn't even know this had a name, it's just something I've done forever and didn't know why. It brings peace to my soul. I don't know why it works, but it does.

This was so relaxing to watch. For the longest time it looked to me as though an alien was looking at me from its blue circle eyes...and then, as you added the orange it gradually turned into a sleepy, languid dog, looking blissfully restful by the end. I have only just discovered this wonderful technique and find it fascinating. The stress of your day / week really showed in the chaotic black swirls at the beginning and was all smoothed out and transformed into something much more relaxing in just a few minutes. It was almost like watching the process of meditation in someone else's mind being created on the page. Fascinating and beautiful. Thanks for sharing : ) x

Finding these kinds of paintings a real treat. Then I watched some beginner vids, learning the simple techniques. And then, and most important to me, realized how do-able it is. Beauty without years of study and practice! Big thanks. I'm 85 and feeling 'renewed'.!!!

Could I use posca pens on the original lines for the intersections? Definitely going to try this, so relaxing just watching, so it must be so relaxing to do. Thank you for sharing, x

Just make sure the posca pen ink is totally dry before painting. You may want to test it on a small strip first just to be sure.

😊love the painting. The colors along with your voice is very relaxing...not so much for the music. I found it a bit loud and distracting 😊

Any tips I should know when using them as a beginner.
