Many may not know the songwriter and composer if this wonderful moving song. It's not by an independent Pastor or a worship leader or an evangelist but by a CSI Reverend from Trichy Tanjore Diocese. He is Rev.Dr.Mohanraj Peter . He was originally working in Valparai, not clear if it was with EB or the tea estate. He left the job when he began to slowly lose his eyesight...don't know when he became a Rev with the diocese. He wrote and composed music for it and used to sing and play it on his 80bass Piano accordion. I met him in the mid 80s when I was working with the Trichy Tanjore Diocese. He lived opposite to my house across the road and used spend time with him as I used to play the violin . He got his PhD in Philosophy and I used to help him sometimes. He moved to TTS Madurai to teach in the 80s itself. His wife died while he was there and he had a son. I don't know if he is still alive...by the time I met him he had become almost visually impaired. I checked all the RUclips videos of this song none mentions his name...very sad. But God would have given him credit for his genuine work. He had a passion for the lord and Gospel work. I just felt sharing this information so in case you happen to use his song please mention his name and glorify our lord Jesus Christ.
