Kuryakyn LED Battery Gauge - Installation / How to (9 of 10)

In this short video we verify proper operation of our newly installed Kuryakyn LED Battery Gauge. (Update: 2012-April-12 ) Meter leads were attached to the battery posts when I performed test. I was a little disappointed with the low voltage, meaning I did not break 14+ volts. I may have a ground somewhere which would explain the failure of the stator.

Thats a good meter, bluepoint I got the same one, although currently in for repair due to a spell with the parts washer.

I know this is an old video but it seems like the voltage monitor isn't consistent with your multimeter. You got almost 14V on multimeter but not on the kuryakyn meter. I'm having the same issue with a newly installed Kuryakyn volt gauge and I'm wondering if this is simply the way they respond.
