It was a smart decision to use a round and smaller diining table. Love the sofa too. Light colors and the warm wood tone play very well together.

Smoke and mirrors can't hide the ordinariness

But since it’s not near any major modes of transportation, maybe lower the prices and THAT will bring in buyers. 🤷🏽‍♀️
1.3 can get you into Williamsburg or Greenpoint so why live here?

does the buyer get this as is? or is it just staging and then the owner would design it however if they want?

@@makeupunlimited: it's just staging and a million miles away from what I would do. In fact, I would specify my own fixtues and fittings as I can't stand this design by numbers laziness.

People relocating to New York City may encounter difficulties when attempting to leave due to various factors. Purchasing an apartment in NYC comes with hidden fees and potential luxury taxes that may not be immediately apparent. Some apartment deals may not include expensive furnishings, adding to the financial intricacies.
The city's tax laws are often described as unjust or even referred to as "Evil Tax Laws." All residents of NYC are required to file NY State taxes or NYC tax, and the process is complex, distinct from the federal IRS income tax system. Refusal to comply with NYC tax obligations may result in the city resorting to coercive measures, including potential extortion related to tax evasion. The urban landscape is not without its challenges, and unsettling scenarios can unfold. For instance, instances of assault or harm between individuals, regardless of their socio-economic status, can occur. This includes situations where a homeless individual might assault a wealthier person, or a professional like a dentist causing harm to a child or grandparent's teeth. Moving to NYC requires caution, as the city is not universally suitable. It caters to those who appreciate challenges and embrace an environment characterized by aggression, a certain level of darkness akin to Batman's Gotham City, and potential encounters with confrontational individuals. In essence, NYC may be the right fit for those who find allure in its unique characteristics, but it may not be suitable for everyone.

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”"
      -The Holy Bible (Revelation 21:3-4)

I think it’s so insensitive for a real estate person to go to someone else’s property in high heeled stilettos that will possibly f/k up the property’s floors. The staging looks great tho.

Floors are meant to be walked on, high heeled shoes notwithstanding.

I guess the developer is hoping people will like what they see having schlepped all the way out there. The style is generic and what every developer is doing.

Featureless and dull. Lacks character and style.
