I live in NYC. Before guests visit my apartment, I tell them I have a no-shoes rule. This gives them a choice of wearing or bringing socks...or to opt out of coming. The only people I allow to wear shoes is when a repair person comes, as I feel that would be unrealistic. So when I know they are coming, I promptly mop my floors with disinfectant cleaner once they leave.
If the host isn’t wearing shoes in their home, then the guest should totally take their shoes off. Love the apartment, but I was so distracted the whole time watching Talia go all over the place (the bedroom! 😱) with her boots on while her host is clearly barefooted. Maybe she was too nice to ask Talia to remove them?
@@ailin7 I promise I was just expressing this to my son.. Sure enough came into the comments to see if I was the only one going crazy over this ...... AND IT WAS THE VERY FIRST COMMENT😖😖 ...Even if the home owner said to me as I'm talking my shoes off (No its ok) I would still take my shoes OFF... ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE BAREFOOT.. JUST INSANE
I genuinely don’t understand why people always say this lol. I am American and LITERALLY (yes, the actual definition of the word literally) no one that I know wears outside shoes inside. It’s seen on tv, outside of that it’s really not that big a thing where I am in America.
Love how they’ve set up their space. Though I don’t think I’ll ever understand the hype over the frame TV. Is it not just a flat screen, smart TV, with coloured edges to look like a “frame”?
We do have a bathroom even though it’s not shown in the video. It’s teeny but works fine for us. It’s in the entryway along with our washer and dryer closet 😊
@@MTMF.london Agreed. It's not legally a bedroom. I suppose I'll give them credit for being honest in stating that because we all know how we really operate in NYC
Your layout and light are amazing, but i do feel that you could use more color in the kitchen. Maybe a pop of red or sage green or pumpkin would be nice on the ceiling or a little wallpaper as the back splash. Otherwise lovely lovely apartment, but you did jip us out of seeing a bathroom.
It’s an ikea sektion wall cabinet with two doors in glossy white, I think ringhult white! Different dimensions are available. The cushion was custom from Etsy.
@@eavi1653 thought the same thing but no egress window YET there is 2 windows in there on the wall blocked off & painted white same as walls right next to the closet door
This is not a "studio" apartment. It is small "one bedroom". A studio apartment is when it's one large room that is used as both the bed and living room.
You absolutely could. There is laundry pick up service...it's not like before when you had to schlepp your laundry to a laundromat. NYC's wonderfulness makes up for a lot of things one thinks you could not live without.
Not only is the layout amazing for a studio, the light is amazing and their decor is so good
I like their decor. The long counter between living area and kitchen opens up the space for conversation when cooking.
I LOVE this apartment! It’s so beautiful, functional and great natural light. I wouldn’t change one thing, well done!
isn't it great!
I LOVE yalls place! It feels warm and clean/serene while making the most of the space!
It’s my girl Talia I just adore her🤍 Congratulations on season 3 🥳
Talia is the best ❤️
Yessss... Tiffany!!!
Love it. Young, sophisticated simplicity - lovely 💙
Yesss!
I luv their style. I've always have loved the "beach look" and I also like ecclectic.
What a lovely apartment. I love the vibe.
They found a perfect balance! Talia's energy is 10 out of 10!
awwww thanks!
Beautiful, looks so much bigger. They did a great job.
they did a great job!
I still feel uncomfortable when people enter the apartment with their shoes on. I know its not a bigdeal in america but...
I find it extremely rude but😅

Cute space. Love the bookshelf and photo gallery!
Noguchi akari lights are Japanese not Chinese, fyi. Otherwise, very cute apartment 7:11
That's so good to know - thank you! Now I know what to really call them!
That is a REALLY nice working kitchen for the space...you usually do not see that in smaller NYC apartments
Very charming and cozy. Loved it!
❤️
Yesss. thanks for watching!
Love this apt show. Great host keeping it real in NY!
WOW! What a great job they have done!! ❤❤❤❤
what a gorgeous apt
SOOO GOOOOD!!!
🙌🙌🙌
They did a great job.
Fantastic space! Always excited to see a video from you!
Thanks so much for watching!
What's funny is one can DIY a framed TV rather easily. The Sorry Girls' Becky did it, YT.
Nice space, huge culture change from Austin.
so lovely

Good color sense, I would remove some of the wall prints...area is too small...can look cluttered
When it's not on the frame TV looks like a painting instead of a black rectangle (unless you choose a painting that looks like a flat screen TV🤣)
So cute!
Did not show the bathroom. That is an important room.
Restrooms are probably communal, out in the main hallway.

Beautiful ❤️
Very nice! Only thing, this is not a studio but a one bedroom apartment.
It is a studio. In NYC you can't call it a one bedroom apartment unless it has a window in the bedroom.
@@MTMF.london Agreed. It's not legally a bedroom. I suppose I'll give them credit for being honest in stating that because we all know how we really operate in NYC

Wait no bathroom?
2 full grown adults and 2 dogs in one tiny space, couldn't be me.
In the window a/c units oh my 😱
Charming ❤
Does anyone know where that great bookshelf is from!?
Can anyone lonk the Ikea cabinet used as bench seating? TIA
Do you know where the kitchen bar cart is from?

Do you know what kind of Ikea cabinet was used for the bench?
We need details please!

Thanks!
Thanks for sharing that info!
What was the name of the porcelain?
Where's the bathroom? Down the hall?
The bathroom?
Wait a minute - if there's a door to that bedroom, this is a proper 1-bedroom apartment and not a studio apartment.
It’s not legally a one- bedroom, because it doesn’t have a window. No egress in case of fire. So, it’s a studio.
thought the same thing but no egress window
@@eavi1653 thought the same thing but no egress window YET there is 2 windows in there on the wall blocked off & painted white same as walls right next to the closet door
No window, so not considered a bedroom.
🔥🔥🔥👍….
Missing info about bath, foyer and any special things about the apartment.
450 square feet in nt tiny in NY
👍👍👍
I am confused about the TV though ?....thought it was a portrait
The style does not work for me....but very nice!!
No bathroom?

Wheres the tv? Too many pictures for me...too busy
I want to know who the apartment owner is i want to see her art
It would be nice to know how many square feet this space is?🇺🇸❤️🌵
It's in the title. Or 45sqm metric.
@@mezanian450sqft or 41.8 sqm.
Smile Jesus loves you ❣️
I love these videos, but then I look around my place and scream "WHAT A DUMP!"
This place did nothing for me I found it very plain
this is not a study it's a one bedroom
This is not a studio, it's a one-bedroom apartment.
They didn’t cover the bathroom.
Its ok, but on the pedestrian side.
Where's the bathroom?
I wonder if Talia is neurodivergent? I am. I feel like she is. 😊
The fake plant is terrible.
Soooo much weight on those shelves 😮 Giving me anxiety watching this tour.
Talk too much, lesser you talk better visual impact, viewers r intelligent you don't have elaborate so much that it becomes boaring, blabbering.
It looks really boring.
Where's the bathroom? Also, I could not live without a washer and dryer, no matter how nice the apartment is.
