With Sam joining the Nigeria team, I think it actually has something to do with Sam’s restaurant, when it was vandalised his father tells him to get security cameras, & that’s where Edwin tells Sam about the bribe, so there’s a really good chance that Sam got the admission on film
Excellent, Never thought of this. I was thinking part of Trent's book would have some of the players hopes and dreams. But the camera idea is perfect. Would also explain why Sam is so calm in that scene

I'm pretty sure Jane was not that pregnant when Ted left to go home, so it seems like the wedding would have been set at least a few months after he got home. So I did think it was kind of strange that Ted wasn't there...

Clearly, you can see Jane is pregnant during the wedding scene AND Ken ( minister ) mentions it in his officiant speech.

I thought that was corny and it undermined the message from a previous episode that the sign was not important it’s the message that is.
I'm no soccer expert, but my understanding is the number 10 is reserved for the best player on the team.

going by the classic 4-4-2.
1 - keeper
4 & 5 - central defenders
2 & 3 - wing backs.
6 & 8 - Centre Midfield (this is the engine room, everything flows throw these two.)
7 & 11 - the wingers
9 - striker, most of the time he is poaching, looking for that loose ball.
10 - this is the connection between the Midfield and Number 9. A perfect 10 would have that ability to fight for the ball in midfield and work it forward. This is where you get some amazing goals from player wearing the ten (check Maradona, Pele, Cruyff, Platini, Michael Laudrup, Messi, Zidane, Baggio & Ronaldinho) and if they couldn't score they would have the easy pass to the No. 9
Sad thing is the Classic 10 playmaker has been slowly dying off. These stars are few and far between now.

Each of S03 twelve episodes appear to have been written by 12 different writers who haven’t watched S01 or S02. All over the place

This is exactly how it felt to me as well. And random directors too. The season was almost a parody of the original by the end. I’m shocked it was the same team all the way through. It felt like game of thrones just ruining each character. Jamie and Roy would have never thrown punches, And so many other twists for no reason.
Absolutely no chance of Ted Lasso season 4 but I could see a small reunion series maybe 5 years down the line where his son is old enough to move to England with him. Then again, he's not much of football coach and everything he could teach them about kindness and heart , he already has.

A spinoff with the women's league works. Maybe calling it Forever Richmond. I had a wilder idea on a spinoff prior to actually watching the finale where Rebecca co financed an MLS team whether expansion or the actual Sporting Kansas City team and got Ted to coach it. Could have even gotten some of the players too.

Ted Lasso is one of the greatest television shows of all time. You are doing yourself a complete disservice if you haven’t watched it. Incredible stories, characters, and perfect ending. AFC Richmond forever.
The wedding was probably months after Ted left for the US as Jane appears to be pregnant at their wedding. I thought that was obvious on the first watch of the episode...

no, it's the crazy couple från the episode where Beard is out by himself one night. The boyfriend gave Beard back his wallet at the end.

Jane was very jealous of Ted snd Beard's relationship.
She followed Keeley home to ask if Ted and Beard were shagging. She shredded Beard's passport so he couldn't leave. Maybe Jane did not want Ted at her wedding.
Some of these questions were actually answered if you really watch the episode. Rebecca is the "matriarch" of the team, its in the article she discusses with Ted at the airport. That word means mother. So yes, she became a mother. Roy and Kelie got together. They're together in the celebration at the end of the episode, its just subtextual. Ted Lasso trusts its audience to get these things. You have to watch them, pay attention, and extrapolate. Its not going to just be spelled out for you.
They did not get together. What celebration you're talking about? In Beard's wedding they are separated. In Leslie's BBQ they are sit apart with Jamie in the middle and in the presentation of Roy as new manager she's just standing there next to Leslie. You're making things up

Given how pregnant Jayne was I suspect that there was at least 6-7 months between the end of the show and the wedding. So a short time scale doesn't really fit this agenda. On the other hand Michelle (unlike Dotti) all but ignored Beard in Season 1, and the Season 3 revelation with Nate explains why she did this. I suspect Michelle would have been strongly resistant to attending the ceremony and Ted felt that obliging her was the correct course of action. I too believe that they are back together and not just a friendly separated couple attending their child's soccer match together.
It was an awesome finale to an awesome show!
totally off about the wedding being soon after Ted went back to USA..... she is massively pregnant at the wedding and as of the night all 3 of them slept at Rebecca's she was not pregnant at all!!!!

Ted not going to beard’s wedding is totally moronic. Everyone else was able to attend so I doubt it was that short notice especially considering most of those players are not from England. After a season ends typically players in any sport fly home. I think this finale was a mishandled mess. It seemed like they thought they needed to include every character and every style of film technique they have used in various episodes. I despise compilations and this episode had several it’s a lazy technique that is used far too often in finales. This is a c- episode for Ted lasso.
