- People from around the world are taking weeks, to months, away from their lives to walk the length of Spain. I followed a variety of today's pilgrims to understand what's attracting them.
Released: January 2020
Directed by James Johnston
I need to go back. I miss that people connection...more now than ever with covid pandemic
It's mad. During lockdown you meet less new people than ever, but on the Camino you'd have people from all over the world sharing their most vulnerable stories. Definitely miss it.
The Camino provides, trust.
Very well done, thanks. I walked in July '19, it was an unexpected and impressing experience. Rectified some of my perceptions of life and changed perspectives.
All in all I can recommend to walk the Camino francès!
Outstanding video... Thank you.... Buen Camino
I've never heard about this amazing walk many people take in there life. This sounds like a amazing adventure to get away from the busy lifestyle and unplug from the online work and soak up life on life term's. Thank you for this information and your wonderful documentary about this long walking journey in Spain.
I recommend you see Footprints the path of your life.

The girl who said she didn't feel any different doing the Camino... Look at her face. She is so happy.
Done 3 caminos. All 3 were for religious and spiritual reasons.
glad the guy with the problems he couldnt say, made it. You could tell the difference from start to finish, 2 different personalities. That seem to be gift of the camio
Walked autum 2019.People and the landscape.
Thanks for this, I have enjoyed it as much as the 5 times that I walked the Camino. My videos are on You Tube under my name. Thanks again.
Great work James, thanks for sharing, I have done some if the camino myself and I am looking forward to do more of it.
Good information. Buen camino.
Excellent
hey, you should have put all your journey here. this is already nice
Thank you! Had a 10-minute time limit on this occasion so had to be pretty concise. Was magical and may upload the longer version another time.
These two ladies they would be better preparing for the Boston marathon. They have plenty of goals there. Camino and being a pilgrim is something completely different.

What's the age limit
Hi, no age limit as far as I'm aware. I knew people walking at 13 and 80+ years-old.
No age limit. I knew of a family with a baby in arms walking the Camino. And once met a group of three sisters walking with their 85-year-old father. I often wonder if they reached Santiago, and sincerely hope so. Use this isolating time to plan, explore the route, and read about other's experiences. Whether you do it in a few year's time, or in twenty year's time, if the Camino is calling you, nothing will stop you from getting there.
Nose rings are repugnant.....
