I answered Yes to all three questions you asked about my son’s national travel organization. There’s only one team at his age group and now he’s being bumped up to a hybrid 17/16u older team to play against better competition. He could easily play locally but the talent just isn’t very good. As a result, my son is already being contacted by P5 schools. Sometimes you just gotta take a leap of faith.

My kid has played all three levels too, including a 5 Star Natty team. I sent him back to his out-of-state regional national team because he's permanently scholarshipped instead of chasing big time national teams. It's all about development now. He threw 85 as a 14-year-old last fall. He should top out in low 90s by his senior year which should hopefully get him a scholarship.

What it should be about. Development and going to a place you can be a better player and still love the game. Good luck to him and his future endeavors

@@RickyTempletonBsbl Thanks. He’s not opposed to going JUCO or a smaller school.

I play for a county travel team and we beat canes in multiple tournaments

That’s good but how can you be sure that these canes teams are just cash grabs?

@wdeagles05 canes American and national are legit good. They play for free. The rest suck and pay a ton to subsidize the 2 good teams. It's a scam.
