Thanks for posting this. I did this ride today and it was surprisingly muddy given how dry it has been recently :-) Seriously this trail needs avoiding in winter there were bits of it that were unrideable due to the mud, up to the pedals in places
nice ride this, a bit more challenging when one ain't got a car... to cycle it from leeds and join in scarcroft whereabouts I mean, still seems like a perfect day out :)

Hi Andy you do enter EK and go about halfway down through the village and turn right, on the OS map just after passing Old Hall Farm on the way out of EK, there is a left hand turn onto a descending bridle path that leads to Gateon House Farm. Does that help?

Done the Harland Way many times (Thorpe Arch to Spofforth) and extended to Rudding Park. Must try this one! Never heard of it until now.
