Great video mate, never boring. Shame about the van's turbo going; £2k sucks. As for video views, it's the same for everyone at the moment mate. My suspicion is that RUclips are concentrating on pushing #Shorts for some reason, to be like a middle-aged person's Tik Tok. Don't get it myself; if you want to watch 30 second poor quality videos of a cat hiding in a cupboard then surely you would go on Tik Tok (I would rather stick a soldering iron in my eyes 😃)
Great video Andy, I’m no arse licker but I can’t remember you ever making a boring video, nothing wrong with local rides, with regards to the water filter, I nearly bought the Sawyer micro squeeze but after watching loads of RUclips videos I settled on the Katadyn befree, I’m glad I did, it’s lighter, packs down the same size, has a better flow rate and the collapsible bottle has a much bigger mouth and the filter is much easier to flush, but it’s each to their own at the end of the day 👍
Good video Andy. Always interesting to see local routes and linking bridleways and single track together as we haven't always got the time or opportunity to travel.
Thanks Brian. It’s in the garage as we speak. Lots more wrong with it related to the turbo. Bill has gone up to £3000. Going to have to start working weekends 😂
You're camera setup is great very little compression from YT . Love how some rides become rogue-likes go fast but for-go water. 15:30 we stayed there with our pup it was her favourite bed lovely to have a memory randomly unlocked.
Yes. No real loss in quality. I record and edit in 5.3k but export in 4k. So the quality is high anyway. Glad this video brought back a nice memory for you.
@@TrailFinder Thank-you was a nice one we lost her 3 years ago but the memory of her underestimating the softness of that bed and straight sending it into a floof of blankets is a happy one
Thanks for posting another top video. I got myself a mountain bike this year and your videos/ Strava maps have been a great resource and helped me find new routes around Harrogate (where I live!). I headed up past Ripley a couple of months ago - there were thousands of pheasants on that gravel track. Nearly fell off a couple of times!! 🤣 Any chance of you doing a video about recommended routes over winter when bad weather kicks? Thanks again and keep up the good work
Was just thinking about you when this dropped, we are just en route to home from morzine, the missus soon gets bored of lifts and DH 🙄 There’s so much more but no real routes recorded, hence its pot luck for a decent CX ride . I thought wouldn’t it be good if someone like trail finder was active in other areas . 😃
Nice scenic ride Andy, and I watch your vids. 🙂I converted my spec. turbo levo to coil shock, what a difference, sooo smooth. Sorry to hear about your van. Could be costly 😡 let’s hope not.
Another great video, thoroughly enjoyed every minute, I do part of this trail quite often in summer but can you please tell me, when you get to that farm gate where the highland cattle are and where you turn right for South Stainley, do go left?
Went this way the other day, through the farm yard as if going to South stainley but go left just beyond the farm house and head up towards the woods. Took me ages to find it few years ago!
@@trevorhowling3454 Excellent, I think I took a wrong turn up there once but I'll try not to next time, maybe this weekend, thanks for the info, much appreciated
Nice vid Andy. Pencilled in Komoot, hopefully do this in the next few weeks. 👍🏻🚵🏻♂️ P. S Borrowdale bash nearly killed me a few week ago. You and your mate Rick (?) made it look easier than it was 😂 In fact, most of your rides look like you're on an e-bike 👀
Thanks Micky. Doing an extended version of the bash soon. Great ride. I like to keep my self really fit. Takes alot of hard work to maintain. Not bad for 47 hey

😂😂 love the way you put things Jason. Yeah van a real bummer. Need to get some work done now to pay for it. Thanks for the kind words as always.
I always watch your content. It’s one of the best channels to watch. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Patrick 👍👍
That's my neck of the woods! Good video thanks.
What a really nice place, to pedal and switch off! Perfect!
That’s one of the things I love about biking. And one of the reasons I prefer to ride alone. Just switch off and clear the mind
Really enjoyed the ride, as has been said beats the glut of trail centre rides. Cheers 👍
Thanks. I do enjoy visiting a trail centre every now and again. But you just can’t beat a natural ride

Thanks mate. That’s nice of you to say. I’ll take a look at that water filter for when I need to replace mine
@@TrailFinder your welcome Andy, I can’t recommend the BeFree highly enough, they’re virtually bullet proof and will last for ages too mate 👍
Great trail, looks good, will defo do this one soon.
Do it while it’s dry Dave. That long descent I did is usually a stream in the winter months
Cracking looking ride Andy
It is mate. When I’m not filming for RUclips and just want a local leg spinner. This is the ride I do
Good video Andy. Always interesting to see local routes and linking bridleways and single track together as we haven't always got the time or opportunity to travel.
Thanks Maurice. Yes finding rides locally from home is great. Cost of fuel etc
Yes we do watch your videos lol! Good trails!
Thanks Vicky. I appreciate it.
Great ride Andy, sorry to hear about your van

Thanks rich glad you enjoyed it, and that your finding the Strava maps useful
Enjoyed this looks pretty chill
Cheers Danny.
Enjoyed that TF and with all that sunshine I thought you'd been hacked by BKXC but then I saw a gate and realised it must be somewhere up norf 🌞😉
😂😂. Thanks mate.

Thanks Alan I appreciate it. Unfortunately it’s costing me £2000
Another great video, can I ask what gloves u riding in 😁
Thanks. They are the Scott dh gloves
Loved it, much rather watch that than some trail center.
Exactly!
Thanks Gary

As Trevor said Graham. Through the farm and immediately left. Brings you out on the road where the drovers used to be

Yep. It’s not bad 😁
gonna do this one im not a million miles away
Do it while it’s dry bud and enjoy.
Nowt up with this ride pal...........what grips are on ya bars m8??
Thanks mark. The grips are ergon gp1. Very comfortable with a big platform to rest your palm on. Will never go back to round grips
