Lots of interesting things to consider today depending on past costumes you may or may not have, and the viability of how often a triple imperil weapon may actually be used in the future. This opens Aerith's kit up even more. One copy is huge. So when you are in a battle and either kumara or bahamut rod is not needed, this allows her to equip this, and now your red or other breaker can do something else or just go double dps for big scores.
Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith must be where the money's at, right? To focus on them for the 1 year and then basically immediately after for the crossover is pretty telling.
I'll probably skip. Love Aerith, but I don't need her to be a Fire/Ice/Lightning imperiler when I already have Red and Yuffie, so it's hard to justify pulling for this. I feel like I can only justify pulling on limited banners if I truly need what they offer, and this feels more like a nice-to-have than a must-have.
especially when red & barret can cover some of the imperils with just 3 atb instead of 4. I'll bet we have a fight at some point though with fire, ice, and lightning enemies all in one go
I think I like this costume better than kamura costume - giving defense instead of hp can keep her effective hp lower for reaching 70% threshold for kamura mdef procs
It definitely has the edge, my focus was more so that it's not THAT much better so if you did have Kamura it's not a must pull imo, especially because most of the time we would be choosing Bahamut Outfit anyways, we can fill in buff/debuff duration with R abilities without always needing it in the costume
With Ivy Collar, Seaside Collar and other imperils of these 3 elements already at OB10, I think this is a skip for me (that and the fact I'm broke😅), but I'll try to get just one copy just in case. Now, the UW is the real deal of this banner imo, wondering if the buff/debuff extension effect applies to the Regen new ability 🤔 If so, it would mean we can have Regen throughout an entire fight, which is insane
When I first saw Aerith's weapon and the triple element breach down, I was like, oh no! Red 13's out of a position. :p I may not be able to pull for all of their costumes but, I'd like all of their weapons, at least. I'm waiting for Sephiroth's costume .. He might come third if those little FF6 sprites is anything to go by.
I dont think it will really make the other char's imperils useless tbh, since Red and Barret have double imperil weapons that cost 3 ATB and diamond sigil? Super good
I really hope this isn't a repeat of the 1st Anniversary where they do 4 different single limited banners in a month, but unfortunately its sure looking that way. I'm a little peeved that Cloud/Tifa/Aerith just gets so much more options than the other characters just because they're easier to make side stories out of. I have to wait until the other banners come out to see what I need to summon for, though I'm 90% certain that I'm going to be pulling at least one copy of Aerith's weapon since she's the best healer in the game by far.
Yeah i feel you here. Though it does look like we are getting 4 banners again *sigh* But yeah a single copy of Aerith's weapon should come in handy, it definitely helped for me pulling 1 copy of the Quina Megaphone
Could not agree more. It's a nice weapon to 'have' but i really only feel like itll be used like 1% of the time. Especially since kamura covers mdef and patk, behemoth rod has heals pdef, and haste-like effects. Lets not hammer it home that we have others that imperil better at 3atb instead of 4. I would rather it was 2 imperils with maybe a low to mid umbrella effect with mdef/pdef down
It's funny a JP Evercrisis streamer mentioned today that Aerith gets too much attention and basically can do everything and better than the other characters. The balance of the game is damaged because of it.
@@TheNixBestThing I think yuffie gets a good amount of banners and the others I think just aren’t popular enough for the devs to focus on too much. She’s nowhere near as neglected as other characters. While the amount of limited banners is annoying, if Japanese players don’t complain about it, I don’t think anything is going to change.
Yea also its very costly and hard to save cause these fan favorite characters get banners back-to-back. I love Tifa she's my main, but give me a month break on her 😅
Have a feeling this weapon high tier triple debuff multiplied by elemental r abilities multiplied by trance elemental % multiplied by new materia elemental % is gonna break the normal max one hit damage score ceiling in Corel prison next week= big pp numbers incoming 😂
The weapon is cool, but my only real problem is the choice of characters. I love Cloud, Tifa and Aerith, but them and Sephiroth are the EXACT same characters who featured in the FF9 crossover. I know they make the money, but it can get boring. I just hope it won't be the exact same 4 characters each time there's a new mainline FF crossover.
Going for a little 6 stamp on my side during the week for sure With dungeon ranking return, I can imagine a dungeon with several boss with different weaknesses knowing them lol
Oh yeah, i think this dungeon ranking is exactly where we're going to see it's use, question is how often it will be a major component in upcoming battles. Definitely worth the single copy tho, i think for most people ~
Pulled for the costume and have been having fun with her weapon in co-op. Cloud is a definitiv skip for me no matter what he got. At this point he feels very pay to win. So why bother outside of the big anniversaries? No way are they ever not giving him another limited weapon. Very predictable, easy to plan for. And Seph is like Aerith for me, pulling purely for the costume. And I think they will be the last banners I'll be pulling for this year. Limited this, limited that and then they don't even give good wallpapers out anymore. The audacity (lol)! It has all gotten too much.
got in 9 multis, it was very weird my pulls, most of the results is always give me the 3rd slot in my wish list weapon helping me get 5* weapons i didnt have it yet. Looks like i wont be able to pull on Locke set but im getting the weapon at least
Did 3 pulls and got her weapon ob1 at least. With only 15k I can't afford to go further, especially without seeing what the other characters are getting.
Feels like a pretty easy skip for me. It's not even that I think the weapon is bad, but it runs into a couple issues. 1) The AOE nature of it, which I think is the real standout point, is only useful in 2 fights, variants of the SOLDIERs bossfight, and against 2/3rds of the Turks. Outside of that adds can just get bopped. 2) I can't really justify taking Kamura or Bahamut Rod off her when I can just have somebody else cover breaching. Unless they start putting out a lot of multi-enemy boss fights, I'm not seeing the use case.
Silly question but with it saying on the ultimate weapon (extended + 0) does that mean buff and debuff extension will not work on it? I imagine it will but that is key to whether I think the costume and ultimate weapon are working together and making the ultimate weapon worth it.
Pairing it with Citric Wand gives you god tier Ice potential. And combining it with Bahamuts Rod or Kamura Wand enables you more easily to go 1 Suppot 2 DPS. So it's certainly really good, but not as good as Anniversary Stuff. Curious what the others will get. I wonder if Nanaki or Barret will get a smiliar weapon with the other 3 elemts after the crossover is done.
strong banner but not game breaking for me, i don't have strong emotional attachment to FF6 bc I played FF games starting from part7 and sitting on 40k crystals makes me very careful with my choices Ha Ha Best of Luck to whoever draws for Terra Aerith!
I got Terras rod ,but instead of riot blade as its ability as in the draw weapons description it only has ruinra burst as its a abilty .Has anyone experience this ?,im still new to the game and still trying to familiarize with the games mechanism ,is there anyway to unlock riot blade ability?

You need to pull the gold 5* version of the weapon to unlock Riot Blade. Ruinra Burst is present on the 3* blue and 4* purple weapons.

skipping the entirety of this patch. crossovers only really feel good to pull for if you like it. im waiting for that FFX crossover or a KH crossover.
