Something we haven't seen from hanayama sense the death row arc is his rage mode. He was almost defeated by speck but after entering rage he tore him apart so if he can use his muscles rupture on pickle that's something that could bring him the win.
That's not a "rage mode" that's just Hanayama being Hanayama. And honestly Pickle is just straight up too fast and strong for the vice grip to defeat him. The moment Hanayama tries to squeeze him, Pickle will start hitting back, and if Jack Hanma can't survive his blows Hanayama doesn't have high chances.

As for pickle being to fast and durable yes pickle is durable with blows but we saw Jack tear off in ear yujiro throw him and other non punch and kick effect him in some way even if small. So the vice grip could do something to pickle even if it's a small decrease in pickle's abilitys. For speed yes pickle is faster but hanayama wouldn't dodge and wait for the moment to grab on to him like we saw with his baki and spec fights. And hanayama is durable enough to take some blows before falling.

It needs to be mentioned that Baki straight up couldn’t copy Pickle with his image training and at that point of the story he could copy Yujiro, there is no way any of the strength based fighters can win against Pickle (excluding Yuuichiro because the lack of info) especially his ultimate form, we haven’t even seen what it’s capable because he only pulled it out against Baki and Musashi who are at the top of the verse when it comes to dodging and counters.
Pickle using a technique to beat Baki at the end wasn't necessarily because Baki was or had any hope of beating him in the exchange of raw strength, the narration already stated that he was losing there, it was more-so because Pickle had been made so fearful of everything else Baki had done up to that point that he didn't want to risk Baki pulling out any other tricks at the end.

Yes and no. Baki wouldn't beat Pickle strength wise, but that's not the point, the point is that he pushed Pickle far enough that he would do such a thing. The arc is about Baki learning to enjoy the simple things and not overthink, and Pickle learning the joy of fighting, not for survival but for pride. The fact he did that move is proof he was too prideful to lose. It's one of those cases of Baki losing the actual match but Pickle losing the fight.

Nah you exaggerate Pickles power a bit too much. Yes he was able to defeat several dinosaurs, but he was also often severly injured by them, meaning he isnt that much stronger than a T-Rex. Also he didnt destroyed Baki in any way, he caught Baki offguard the first time and won the second time by fighting dirty while baki fought fair. But still Pickle is clearly a real powerhouse and is probably among the top 5 strongest Baki Characters.

Allot of people tend to forget that Oliva is, on top of his strength, a genius. His library is huge, he can identify tastes and smells vert accurately and has an acute knowledge of poisons. I don't think this would necessarily make up the difference with Pickle, but its something to note
*a lot* and biscuit's intelligence means very little against pickle. Pickle isn't using big brain plays, and pretty much any fighter in the series can outsmart him.
Pickle forced Yuujiro to perform a technique during their strenght contest. When Yuujiro had a strenght contest against oliva, Oliva couldn't even move him. it is safe to say that regular Baki in pickle arc is stronger than Demon back Baki from Oliva arc for this reason.

I'm not convinced about pickles lost against musashi in manga...it's because of pickles trauma to bee's that made him flee..if we look at situation of pickle vs jack..it's pretty much the same..the only difference is pickle defeated jack first before pickles trauma triggers...but actually pickle retreated against jack when he saw him as a bee...musashi sword not cutting through pickles bones would make him bitten through a close fight
I don’t think so, even if Musashi couldn’t cut his bones he still cut deep into the skin hence why pickle has so many scars, if the fight continued pickle would died from blood loss or musashi would just keeps flashing vital points and possibly eventually slash through the bone

Kaku should have enough fight iq and techniques to beat pickle, but it's such a bad matchup for kaku. Shaori is weak to biting so if pickle lands one bite it's over.

I dunno why Demon Back is considered raw power boost xd. It's more mentality thing to showcase that either Yujiro is done and ready to consume oponent or for Baki to show that things just got rly serious. Yes it looks like they are stronger but no character and narrator ever said that demon back gives power boost.
Pickle has so less experience that's why he freaks out every now and then because certain fighters or fighting styles reminds him of multiple dinosaur species or bugs that he couldn't handle back in the days. A well trained Pickle with lots of training in majority of Martial Arts like Baki would be killing everyone. As for Musashi, I believe he could've killed Baki and Yujiro if it wasn't for the plot. I mean Baki saved Hanayama from Musashi. He was on a killing spree.
If Jack's super Uppercut didn't damage Pickle at all, I really doubt Hanayama's punches could deal any real damage to Pickle. Maybe Oliva can do some damage, but I don't think he'll come close to knocking him out...purely speaking in terms of combat using brute force. I feel like Hanayama could really have an interesting fight because of his fighting style, but I don't see how he can win. And if Baki using martial arts could put Pickle in trouble, Doppo prime with both eyes could have ingenious tricks to get closer to victory. Although I don't think he could win. Am I the only one who feels that after Pickle's defeat with musashi people started to see him a little weaker?
Man Probably the creator of Baki was so excited doing the Baki Picke fight that he PROBABILY FORGOT to put the Demon back on Back and let it out that way haha =p. But noneless it was awesome fights.

imo opinion yujiro has gotten more durable than pickle after the father son war arc cause baki was able to break pickles teeth and yujiro was taking on full power blows from demon brain+demon back baki and even won

For pickle vs Oliver I think the ball could defend Oliver from pickle's Punches and beast charge and as we saw against sumo even if it doesn't one shot it still drains a lot of stamina. But the thought of being eaten by the ball would make pickle go battle mode and win.
baki vs pickle makes no sense baki was having internal bleeding couldn't move or walk or breath , he decided to jump again from the top of the arena and some how he is ok ?? yeah lol this was the strangest fight in all of baki fights would have made more sense if baki activated his demon back (would make sense he would recover after ) and all of a sudden baki could move as fast as pickle this was the biggest plot armor in baki series loved the fight just didn't like how they put the fight in play
I'll be honest with you, I kinda felt the same here. Like they go into full explanations and show examples for every punch thrown, but they didn't give any explanation on how Baki was able to recover from having his lungs crushed twice in a row. And then Baki is just somehow able to sidestep at the same speed as Pickle, even though that just shouldn't be possible at all since Pickles would surely have stronger legs than Baki, therefore being able to propel himself away faster.

Honestly feel that huge plot armor for both Pickle & Oliva fight I'm NOT saying Baki shouldn't beat/be stronger than them...i just wanted it to be vague during the arc For examples: vs Oliva Baki wins the fight, but it's clear to the readers that Oliva still superior somehow, depending on the variable (Just like in Baki vs Pickle where Pickle won but we all know demon back Baki superior) vs Pickle In the Pickle arc, Baki shouldn't beat nor be superior to Pickle YET, the fight can be very close, but Pickle should clearly be superior to the readers eyes (Baki should've used the demon back too)... with that being said, in the later arc, that's when the author must confirm that only then, Baki is superior to Pickle via feats against Yujiro + some clear statements That's how i would do if i wanna make Baki surpass Pickle & Oliva...not simply make Baki being stronger than Pickle/Oliva already during their arcs respectively
I'd say Pickle is basically #4, 5 if you count Yuichiro (though it's highly speculative how strong he really is). That said, from all other fighters that aren't above him in the power scaling, the only one I think has a chance is Motobe mostly because like in the Musashi arc is wouldn't be a contest but Motobe straight up using everything to kill Pickle.
i'd say that kaku wins it, yujiro broke thru the xiao li after tricking kaku into tensing up after taking one of his hairs, pickle would never think of that. we also have to note that pickle NEVER dodges strong blows as we have seen in the musashi arc, he eats every hit he gets, and seeing how kaku made yujiro dodge we can safely say that kaku would hit pickle, pickle would get scared and run away
For pickle vs kaku I don't think pickle would really bother as during his arc each fight except for the last baki fight was about food and he might not see kaku as worth the effort like how he went to sleep after katsumi destroyed his arm. But if they do fight it will be a pickle win as kaku's defence technique was only counted by Yujiro pulling out a hair or slamming him into a wall nether is something pickle would know to do but Yujiro's axe kick did damage kaku so even if it is lessened there's still damage and pickle would hit harder then base Yujiro during there fight and pickle's beast charge and battle mode would be to much for kaku.

And there is a negative chance that motobe can choke pickle out is purely impossible even in fiction. Oliva has a better chance at one shorting pickle

Pickle is stronger physically before the father son fight. 2. Pickle is more durable than Yujuro ( musashi who may have become stronger without swords …still can’t cut like he does with swords tbh…n Yujiro who never ever dodged attacks besides his first dodge against kaku, was dodging like crazy ..never letting Musashi’s killing slash against him..n even failed to dodge completely as he bled abit ..while Pickle not knowing what a sword is or what it does took full frigging killing attack without even defending ..he wasn’t even ready so jst got killing blow slashes dozen of time n bled but his body was so strong and tensed it never even reached his internal organs or his bone . N when Judah’s I slashed again pickle being slower couldn’t dodge so he transformed this time his body was so much stronger it did only quarter the damage with respect to the first slashes ..n his body was so strong now even the bleeding stopped. Note that the only one who didn’t dodge and took not one or two but dozen of killing slashes of Musashi is Pickle till date ..even yujiro dodged and even hanayama defended …n his hand even being sliced ..n Retsu with his shaori got cut in half..n also remember pickle was completely relaxed as he didn’t knw what a sword does .) 3. Lastly imagine a super heavy weight athlete ..say imagine a heavy weight MMA very well built and a completely mass monster with high endurance and stamina ….n if he fights a more skilled fighter and faster than him but lower stamina and endurance n is a feather weight champion ..who do u think will win??? Yes the feather weight champ being faster , more skilled would land more painful strokes , dodge more often and hit more but the heavy weight fighter tho slower n receiving more painful attack wouldn’t be that much damaged , would be able to endure it all and having more stamina ( not natural just hypothetical cos pickle has more stamina than all the fighters even more than yujiro ) would be able to bear it all n outperform and tire his opponent who would run outta stamina n will surely get hit ..n a decent amount of those devastating hit would end the match. Allot of people tend to forget that Oliva is, on top of his strength, a genius. His library is huge, he can identify tastes and smells vert accurately and has an acute knowledge of poisons. I don't think this would necessarily make up the difference with Pickle, but its something to note
*a lot* and biscuit's intelligence means very little against pickle. Pickle isn't using big brain plays, and pretty much any fighter in the series can outsmart him.
Pickle forced Yuujiro to perform a technique during their strenght contest. When Yuujiro had a strenght contest against oliva, Oliva couldn't even move him.
it is safe to say that regular Baki in pickle arc is stronger than Demon back Baki from Oliva arc for this reason.

I'm not convinced about pickles lost against musashi in manga...it's because of pickles trauma to bee's that made him flee..if we look at situation of pickle vs jack..it's pretty much the same..the only difference is pickle defeated jack first before pickles trauma triggers...but actually pickle retreated against jack when he saw him as a bee...musashi sword not cutting through pickles bones would make him bitten through a close fight
I don’t think so, even if Musashi couldn’t cut his bones he still cut deep into the skin hence why pickle has so many scars, if the fight continued pickle would died from blood loss or musashi would just keeps flashing vital points and possibly eventually slash through the bone

Pickle has so less experience that's why he freaks out every now and then because certain fighters or fighting styles reminds him of multiple dinosaur species or bugs that he couldn't handle back in the days. A well trained Pickle with lots of training in majority of Martial Arts like Baki would be killing everyone. As for Musashi, I believe he could've killed Baki and Yujiro if it wasn't for the plot. I mean Baki saved Hanayama from Musashi. He was on a killing spree.

If Jack's super Uppercut didn't damage Pickle at all, I really doubt Hanayama's punches could deal any real damage to Pickle. Maybe Oliva can do some damage, but I don't think he'll come close to knocking him out...purely speaking in terms of combat using brute force. I feel like Hanayama could really have an interesting fight because of his fighting style, but I don't see how he can win.
And if Baki using martial arts could put Pickle in trouble, Doppo prime with both eyes could have ingenious tricks to get closer to victory. Although I don't think he could win.

I think the ball could defend Oliver from pickle's Punches and beast charge and as we saw against sumo even if it doesn't one shot it still drains a lot of stamina. But the thought of being eaten by the ball would make pickle go battle mode and win.

I'll be honest with you, I kinda felt the same here. Like they go into full explanations and show examples for every punch thrown, but they didn't give any explanation on how Baki was able to recover from having his lungs crushed twice in a row. And then Baki is just somehow able to sidestep at the same speed as Pickle, even though that just shouldn't be possible at all since Pickles would surely have stronger legs than Baki, therefore being able to propel himself away faster.

Baki wins the fight, but it's clear to the readers that Oliva still superior somehow, depending on the variable (Just like in Baki vs Pickle where Pickle won but we all know demon back Baki superior)
vs Pickle
In the Pickle arc, Baki shouldn't beat nor be superior to Pickle YET, the fight can be very close, but Pickle should clearly be superior to the readers eyes (Baki should've used the demon back too)... with that being said, in the later arc, that's when the author must confirm that only then, Baki is superior to Pickle via feats against Yujiro + some clear statements
That's how i would do if i wanna make Baki surpass Pickle & Oliva...not simply make Baki being stronger than Pickle/Oliva already during their arcs respectively

I'd say Pickle is basically #4, 5 if you count Yuichiro (though it's highly speculative how strong he really is). That said, from all other fighters that aren't above him in the power scaling, the only one I think has a chance is Motobe mostly because like in the Musashi arc is wouldn't be a contest but Motobe straight up using everything to kill Pickle.

I don't think pickle would really bother as during his arc each fight except for the last baki fight was about food and he might not see kaku as worth the effort like how he went to sleep after katsumi destroyed his arm. But if they do fight it will be a pickle win as kaku's defence technique was only counted by Yujiro pulling out a hair or slamming him into a wall nether is something pickle would know to do but Yujiro's axe kick did damage kaku so even if it is lessened there's still damage and pickle would hit harder then base Yujiro during there fight and pickle's beast charge and battle mode would be to much for kaku.

Respectable opinion .
Now here is mine..but before that we have all realised and agreed that-
1. Pickle is stronger physically before the father son fight.
2. Pickle is more durable than Yujuro ( musashi who may have become stronger without swords …still can’t cut like he does with swords tbh…n Yujiro who never ever dodged attacks besides his first dodge against kaku, was dodging like crazy ..never letting Musashi’s killing slash against him..n even failed to dodge completely as he bled abit ..while Pickle not knowing what a sword is or what it does took full frigging killing attack without even defending ..he wasn’t even ready so jst got killing blow slashes dozen of time n bled but his body was so strong and tensed it never even reached his internal organs or his bone . N when Judah’s I slashed again pickle being slower couldn’t dodge so he transformed this time his body was so much stronger it did only quarter the damage with respect to the first slashes ..n his body was so strong now even the bleeding stopped. Note that the only one who didn’t dodge and took not one or two but dozen of killing slashes of Musashi is Pickle till date ..even yujiro dodged and even hanayama defended …n his hand even being sliced ..n Retsu with his shaori got cut in half..n also remember pickle was completely relaxed as he didn’t knw what a sword does .)
3. Pickle running from musashi is like he ran from jack cos he knows it’s a painful opponent that is troublesome ..not cos he can’t defeat him but cos he didn’t like the pain n felt it was not worth the effort. Just like t wasp he can definitely kill and eat a wasp but the sting is still too painful he would rather avoid it if at all possible ..not cos he can’t defeat it. Imagine if there was no way out…n pickle forced to fight to death…he was already biting pieces of musashi…his endurance and strength alone would outperform musashi n prolly bite one Chunk of meat per 10-15 slashes ..n eventually musashi’s blood loss and stamina will run out n loose.
4. No one ever made Baki loose consciousness like Pickle did . Even when Baki fought with yujiro… yujiro beat him so bad yes Baki lost consciousness for few seconds but was alwys back on his feet or at least became conscious ..even when he couldn’t stand any more at the final scene ..he was still conscious but with Pickle ..pickle made Baki black out so bad he was forced to be moved from a stretcher.
5. Lastly imagine a super heavy weight athlete ..say imagine a heavy weight MMA very well built and a completely mass monster with high endurance and stamina ….n if he fights a more skilled fighter and faster than him but lower stamina and endurance n is a feather weight champion ..who do u think will win??? Yes the feather weight champ being faster , more skilled would land more painful strokes , dodge more often and hit more but the heavy weight fighter tho slower n receiving more painful attack wouldn’t be that much damaged , would be able to endure it all and having more stamina ( not natural just hypothetical cos pickle has more stamina than all the fighters even more than yujiro ) would be able to bear it all n outperform and tire his opponent who would run outta stamina n will surely get hit ..n a decent amount of those devastating hit would end the match.
With regard to stamina ..realistically who do u think will having more stamina , an average prehistoric man or an average modern man..also in another case, one of the alpha prehistoric man or a modern athlete champion
