Just wanted to take the time to comment on how excellent your videos are. Went on a bit of a binge-watch. The storytelling, framing and general cinematography across your videos are great. I know how that takes real effort and intention. Respect the art you're creating. Keep going, it's great work! 🙌
I used to get death anxiety in my teens and twenties where id uncontrollably freak out and panic when thinking about death. I hid it as i didnt know what it was and everyone else seemed 'normal'. I now understand im not a freak and many people suffer this anxiety. Meditation and spirituality has helped me move forward with this traumatizing reality, be more grateful, present, and realize just how special this life is.
I think it is one of the most human experiences to be afraid of death, so much of philosophy and religion is devoted to dealing with this. I am also working on making this fear more motivating rather than overpowering! Thank you for sharing!
I think I do this already, but I have become lacking in ambition as a result, because I am trying to enjoy my time on earth rather than strive. I found a career I enjoy, but I am growing at such a slow rate because I am relaxed and do not force growth (some might call it lazy or apprehensive). Btw, clearly a lot of talent goes into your videos - best of luck with your endeavour!
I totally understand the dilemma. I put a lot of pressure on myself by nature, so it was heard to learn to do things another way, and sometimes I feel like I can fall into another extreme of just being complacent with where I am. But maybe what could help is what Mark Manson says, if you were to die, what would you want to accomplish and what would you like to do with your life and then make sure you give the right priority to these things? But yeah, to find the right balance between growth and being grateful for where you are is one of the hardest things ever!
@@lostinadmiration it is a good question to ask oneself for sure, I think the only thing that springs to mind is 'move to Japan' for me, but that would move me too far away from my ageing family - certainly a question to meditate on and I will. Thank you v much for the response
@@Yer_Da_ I have the same issue again haha :) I would move to Thailand or Australia in a beat of a heart but as an only child I do feel responsible for my parents and would miss them too much!
Your RUclips channel is absolutely amazing! The content you create is both entertaining and informative, The production quality, creativity, and passion you put into your videos are evident in every frame. keeping me hooked with every video. Keep up the fantastic work, you're doing a fantastic job! 😊👍
Wow, thank you! This means the world, sometimes it is hard to stay motivated to keep doing this (because it feels like only my mom and dad are watching haha) thanks so much, I appreciate your support :)
Thank you for your content! I just accidentally stumbled upon your video about the morning routine and couldn't stop watching it! The quality of your storytelling is on a very high level. Good luck!
Every time I saw the images of death as a character in cathedrals' paintings, I've felt something really similar. I guess it was acceptance, humility, and willingness to live a better life until the moment comes. Really liked how you matched all these thoughts together 😊 And btw, the style of your video really ignited my inspiration to create such content. It sounds and looks like those amazing BBC history movies 🙃
Haha thank you - so glad someone thinks it is a good thing how I sound! When I watched the vlog part of the video I was like ‘oh no, I sound like a history teacher, I need to learn how to speak more like a RUclipsr like it’s 2023’ 😅😂 so I really appreciate your comment!
Oh and cathedrals are so beautiful! You can check out a short animation move ‘The Cathedral’ by Tomas’s Baginski from 2002 if you enjoy their architecture - it was nominated for an Oscar and was quite impressive for that time (I think it still is)
I was so not prepared to cry today. Thank you so much Daria for this video. Particularly when you discussed the idea of reframing aspects of your life or "narrative" as being part of your story to who you are today, I felt an overwhelming sense of self compassion for my past and present self. You have a wonderful eye and imagination for making videos, and I cannot wait to continue seeing how they evolve!
That’s so kind of you! And extremely uplifting to hear 😍❤️ sometimes we forget what we’ve been through or the battles we fought, if we do remember it is better to think of it in a way that’s helpful! Wishing you the very best and thank you for making my day ❤️😍
Thank you so much for watching! It is a great book for anyone who wants to write or anyone interested in psychology and narrative building. Hope you'll enjoy the read!
I am new to your channel and I am in love with your videos! The thoughts expressed are so gentle and wise. Your voice and background score segue into each other. The transitions are flawless! Thank you for making such beautiful content. One thing that I am deteremind to learn is to be kind to myself and turn that kind-eye to others. Your content is most helpful!
Your videos are wonderful. I really enjoy them, your content, your voice, your editing. Thank you. Hang in there it takes time but you have what it takes.
Thank you - so happy to hear some of it was useful! Do you mean the one by Mark Manson? I love how down to earth he is. Also, ‘Wintering’ by Katherine May is a beautiful, very comforting book - a bit more reflective and poetic, but very helpful.
Couldn’t agree more with the death/carpe diem concept!! 💪🏻 so important also to connect with your loved ones 💕 love all the brolls & edits as usual spot on😊
I was thinking the same thing! Often the videos I "stumble upon" (thanks RUclips algorithm) are a bit chaotic and these videos are so lovely and calming.
. Dziękuję za ten odcinek.
To prawda! Tyle niewiadomych i ciagle zdaje sobie sprawę jak mało rozumiemy. To bardzo uczy człowieka pokory ale tez i właśnie doceniania małych rzeczy! Dziękuje za miłe słowa!
Thank you so much - means a lot! Honestly, I have not thought about it! I use tons of books for each video which I always reference. Would you be more interested in one book review per video (kind of summary) or more like ‘5 best books for mental health’ or something along these lines?
Thank you so much :) means a lot ! what type of books do you mean? I share them regularly in the videos but I am also thinking of doing a video about my top books that helped me the most
