great video man. love the detail. please do a 'the last **** you will every buy" series! especially on mundane items. Peelers, toaster, backpack, pan, camping chair. etc etc. Love your work! '
Really good quality video with great timing of AB rolls, and please keep to work up. The views were quite shocking though, definitely deserves more. Something I noticed during the video was that you might want to add a bit of motion during the A roll. Such example would be when you're going through the backpack, rather than switching to a b roll, just show it as you talk through during the a roll to create more interaction, then use b roll on the details.
Thanks, I’ve only got the 26L so I can’t comment on the 20L, but I find that when the 26L bag is mostly empty, it flattens to a pretty compact shape… so I don’t feel like there’s much unnecessary bulk there.
Thanks! I haven't tried the 20L yet, but I will say that the only times I really fill up my 26L are on weekend trips or longer vacations. I figure 20L would be plenty of space for my everyday work/gym bag.
Got this today. Absolutely beautiful. I was worried that the bronze colour would be too bright and originally ordered the black. Bellroy were great in allowing me to change my order to the bronze. Looks stunning. Bag and zips a little stiff but hopefully will loosen up over time. 20 litre perfect for everyday use and the office. Could be used for a weekend break but any more than 2 days would need a larger bag. All in all a fantastic bag 👍
@@davemeadows6688 very stoked to get mine. Should arrive Monday. I also went bronze. Sometimes I need a little color in my life. Although the creamy interior of the black made the choice tough
Good review. Question, the bag hangs low on you. I like my bags high and close to my back. The bag slinging low, is that the way you wear it or does the bag hang low?
Thanks! You're right, I just checked and my shoulder straps are nearly extended to their maximum possible size. Didn't really notice it before, and that setup feels comfortable to me, but I do have lots of room to tighten the straps if needed.
I can definitely do some comparisons, but which North Face model are you thinking about? They have quite a few options (Borealis, Recon, Jester, Surge, Router, Kaban, Base Camp Voyager, etc...)
Hey - thank you very much for making such a thoughtful and detailed review - really awesome :) > Could you let me know what the details are of the water bottle at the beginning of the review? It looks really cool :)
@@august_build thanks for letting me know - it would be really awesome if Kinto did one of their bottles in titanium - they quality is really nice but the finishes are a bit drab.
Depends on what you need it for. The transit is more of a commuter backpack, and the venture is more of a crossover between being a commuter and adventure bag.
The travel version is newer, and comes with a protected passport pocket, a luggage pass-through, a fully zipped water bottle holder, and a removeable tote bag.
Thanks for the review and passing on the knowledge. Talking about the bag it is very functional design and built seems great but the aesthetic appeal is pretty low. Imho
@@august_build that's awesome. Love the content and thoughtfulness put into review. It's about time your channel will blow up, coming from an ex-IPR attorney who has worked with award winning product designer. Goodluck :)

glad you enjoyed the video, and appreciate the feedback!
Great review!
thanks!
Great video. I just received the 20L but thinking I should exchange for 26L. Any thoughts?

Love this backpack, great review!!
Love the review. Do u have any thoughts on their smaller size? The 20L

Great video. I have this bag and alternate between this and the Peak Design backpack. Both are great.
Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the bag
inside mesh pocket great for a little umbrella
good call!
I’ve just ordered this but the 20 litre. Do you think that’ll be too small? Just for days out and the office. Thanks.
20L should be an appropriate size for regular commuting, I only ever fill up my 26L on weekend trips or vacations.
I did too! Pretty stoked for it

can u compare this to the classic similar looking north face?

Hey - thank you very much for making such a thoughtful and detailed review - really awesome :) > Could you let me know what the details are of the water bottle at the beginning of the review? It looks really cool :)
Glad you enjoyed the video - the water bottle is a titanium one from Keith, it's very light but honestly the build quality is quite poor.
@@august_build thanks for letting me know - it would be really awesome if Kinto did one of their bottles in titanium - they quality is really nice but the finishes are a bit drab.
@@rckeesing Agree, I think titanium is really under-explored as a water bottle material. Pretty much every brand goes with stainless steel.
I am between this and the transit one, any advise?
Depends on what you need it for. The transit is more of a commuter backpack, and the venture is more of a crossover between being a commuter and adventure bag.
What is the difference between the venture 26l everyday and venture 26l travel backpack besides cost

2:36 human hand size varies by person
that is correct

yeah it is pretty cool
These bags have a 6 year warranty now. Still very stingy but at least it's better than before.

$259 is not a reasonable price for any backpack, you're all cracked
