- awesome couple day fishing in wellington harbour, got about 8 gurnad 5 kahawai and hooked a kingfish on a live bait. shout out to the boys at kp marine down in plimmerton for teaching us how to fish micro jigs and soft baits. thanks for watching. I just bought a new soft bait rod and I was wondering what soft baits u would recommend? I go fishing in the harbor on weekends and never catch anything haha
the daiwa baitjunkie copper flash paddle tail 2.5 inch with a 1/0 1/4th jig head is a good combo or any 7g jig like a catch pocket rocket or a 14g ocean angler flea

Slow wind with small hops for gurned make sure it’s always on the bottom

our leader was 12 and 16lb and our braid was 10lb on the light setups but on the heavy was 50lb braid and 100lb leader.
