To my knowledge, noones beat those numbers since. 802hp 802lb/ft 0-60 1.97 seconds 1/4 mile - 9.68 (Close as I remember) Seriously. On pump gas, with DOT slicks, smog legal and if you looked it over back to front you couldnt tell it wasnt stock. Those numbers still stand tall today. And his work is still being used. RIP
Any decent HCI C6 Z is going to be 620-640 rwhp and trap 138-140 and be mid to low 10's. Even with an average driver, no bolt on 10R80 mustang is going to be able to deal with that. There is still no replacement for displacement.

That look is how people used too look at me in my 1995 suburban with a old vet engine and transmission . A little tip a corvette engine and transmission is built for one other and cannot Mach make another transmission so a lot of custom work went into this suburban . It was a 10 second fat soccer mom van that bullied some nice sports cars . Nice build and continue to share . Edit I have a picture of the suburban burrito at 180 mph my wife sent a picture to me. And it had shit breaks .
lol no they are not. There is nothing special about a vette engine. It’s the exact same block/bellhousing bolt pattern as any other small block. You can bolt any transmission you want behind it that you can bolt to any other Chevy V8.
This is awesome! I’m hyped because I’m currently looking at a wicked C6Z Carbon edition actually for 57k with 56k miles on it but it looks in very quality condition very well kept, 2 owners, no bad history, and the best part is that it’s almost stock (only looks)… except for the fact that it makes 600whp with a full heads and cams package plus full titanium exhaust, massive cold air intake, upgraded cooling etc. No issues and the fact that the heads are upgraded is actually a plus because it sort of just fixed the stock heads issue anyway. This video has me excited so which me luck everyone 🤞

That's because it has a 6.2L corvette block also. My Escalade does as well. Basically that old Corvette doesn't impress me much. It's trade-in is near zero due to the new models which may be faster and would definitely rather have the keys to. The exhaust would scare away most women. 15 yo boys like it possibly.

My ls3 base model sounds exactly like this exact same pitch and I’ve heard similar setups but none that sound the same I don’t even know the exhaust on mine just know it’s 3 inch all the way to the axle back with headers she screams

My personal opinion, the C6 was by far the sexiest compared to the C7 & C8. C6 exterior + C8 interior, perfection.
