- Hey friends! I'm Eric Lagerstrom, I'm a professional triathlete, and this is my SWORKS Tarmac SL7 build video. Every time I get a new bike, I try to elevate the video that I create to introduce it to the world. It's my favorite thing to create and cycling brings to much joy to my life.
There are hundreds of bike build videos in perfectly lit mechanic shops, and I wanted to mix things up by building a bike in the most beautiful inspiring place possible. Basically bringing a complete bike into this world already in it's natural environment, instead of a sterile garage.
Thanks to Zac Collins for building this time, so I could focus on filming, and to Nick Goldston for flying to Bend to help me get the riding shots.

The sidewalk climb from the upper parking lot to the watchtower is rough!!! Damn!!!
Beautiful piece per usual! Since the lighting was so low, it would've been cool to add a close-up of Zach passing/handing off the bike to Eric after the wide shot, just to really nail that story point, but wearing white shoes was a good call.
I really thought that shot was going to turn out a lot brighter, but I couldn’t push it as far in post as I’d hoped.

Three things... How/where can I buy that portable table? New Channel Idea - ASMR Bike Builds. The yellow shoulders on your jersey in the dusk tell me that it truly isn't ALL about the bike, but the bike does matter. Well done!

So this was a tarmac with gravel tires? Maybe you can speak to this a little on the pod? Did it have gravel gearing?

Hmmm, had to watch dream bike build, everyone is entitled to a dream:) even me go doge coin, and don't forget shib coin too,,,my dream is to have a million dollar santa cruz long distance race, and if Eric does not want to race it, he can always flim it, but I do dream he will want to race, go long Eric, as I only have three years left tell I turn 55:) and that's dream time line:)

While I appreciate the video production, I am not sure why you would want to build anywhere other than your shop or backyard. Too many variables in a bike build. Even with known parts. It looks like you cut the fork and installed tires back at home ;)
