A Fun Fact with the All Japan game: All Japan Pro Wrestling even had one of their wrestlers dress up as Wolf Hawkfield to promote the game. The character was popular enough to have the guy remain Wolf for 3 years.
Hah the intro is so great, the idea of not postponing any of the action we are eager to hear about is there with a twinkle. Exhausted the content… but… I HAVENT!!! Classic Sega Lord moment "Anarchy" looks like the game I got the most interested in, true fighting Tech also even in the basic stance of special moves the backgrounds also seem to have a good flow to them, and I like how the game play is presented in the movements of the characters you pick, funny how some people still say Saturn could not handle Three dimensional titles!
Anarchy in the Nippon might seem like it has bland characters at first, until you run into the apologetic salaryman who runs around you in circles to make you dizzy and fall over. Also, just FYI, the game's actual title is Goiken Muyou: Anarchy in the Nippon, which translates to something like "your opinion doesn't matter".
Just want to recommend anyone watching this who loves neo geo fighters, that all the main ones (and many obscure ones) are available on switch for 7.99 a pop.. I have bought all of them and find something worthwhile in every single one.. Never had so much fun with 2d fighters.. I play them in handheld mode with the superb hori dpad joycon (one of the best d pad I have ever used) and I highly recommend them.
@@SegaLordX 95 has a top tier soundtrack. I'm glad SNK opted to use jazz otherwise every fighting game would sound the same. You really need to take into consideration the stage they're fighting in and the characters the music is assigned to in order to appreciate the music. If every game strictly used music that would fit a fight then it'd get stale fast.
I actually want to completely redo these videos. These are the first videos I ever did for RUclips and I know I could make them better now. I plan on rebooting them all.
Real bout special was supposed to get a ps1 usa release they heavily promoted it with the releases of samurai showdown 3 and king of fighters 95 as I have a complete copy of 95 and they even advertise it on the back of the manual
Please tell me you've covered Last Bronx in one of your videos. I don't know why, but it gets overlooked some times, despite being one of the more complex fighting games I played in the 90's.
MK trilogy for the saturn is the better version since it doesn't have the sounds glitches and more important, doesn't have the crash bug that system suffers from.
You forgot to mention that "Mortal Kombat Trilogy" was also released on the Nintendo 64... How different is that version from the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation versions, BTW?
In one of your videos, you mentioned a game called Touki Densho Angel Eyes. I forgot which one it was in and I would appreciate it if you can tell me the links to the video it was shown in please.
Really no love for pocket fighter I understand virtua fighter kids not that great but pocket fighter was awesome even thought the Saturn version only came out in japan goes for around 40 bucks nowadays
I've been a 49ers fan since the early 80's. I had some rather mean older cousins that were diehard Cowboys fans, and they hated the 49ers with a passion, especially after "The Catch". I naturally supported their opposition.
I thought Criticom was a stealth FPS because the name made it sound like it and that name should have been reserved for something like that. What a terrible name to name your fighter. Yes that game is lousy and best left in the dust next to Dark Rift on the N64. Those idiots who created it should have came up with a better name.
It's really painful and obvious to see a KOF game being played improperly, that just doesn't exist in any other game. If it was street fighter, you can't really tell if someone is either a novice, a scrub, or an expert until halfway through the round, but in KOF, it just shows after a few seconds. Speaking of which, criticizing SNK music? Really? I know that this isn't actually a review of games and more like just a list of what is out there, but this is a whole new level of ignorance. You may want to hold off on such opinions because that is just EMBARRASSING. Can't really give a like on this one, because now I can't take any bad opinion you have on any game seriously.

Haha, that's awesome.
Shout out to Jim Steele
Thanks for supporting the Saturn and more games, Sega Saturn forever
I appreciate your videos I don’t know much about the Saturn I’ve always wanted one and finally have one on the way.
Im impressed with the character models on K1.
Saturn really does have a ton of great fighting games.
Great stuff as always man! Taking me down memory lane cuz I used to have a Saturn back in the day
Thanks man. Appreciate the feedback.

That All Japan wrestling game looks interesting. I'll have to keep my eyes out for that one!
Can't wait for part 3
I'm pretty sure Anarchy in the Nippon uses the Virtua Fighter 2 engine itself, which is why it looks so good.
..out of the games covered in this episode, I only have KoF '96,Real Bout Fatal Fury and DBZ Legends

That was definitly Virtuafighter 2 Character Select music playing at the beginning
Cool video
WTF are you talking about dude? KoF 96's soundtrack is the best in the series (and it's awesome!)!
I just didn't dig on the Jazz mix, man. It wasn't what I wanted to hear in a fast paced fighting game. I enjoyed 97's soundtrack much more.
maximuscesar 98 is the best as far as music goes

kissmyconverse across the board arrange to original snk all day
Sega Lord X do you know if action replay takes to Kof 95?
That second DBZ game reminds me of Supersonic Warriors on the GBA, which is not a bad thing at all.
I still think Durals track is dope as hell!!!
Will there be part 3?

"Last Bronx" man . Last Bronx . Excellent 3D high res fighter! Remember the arcade?
I always considered Last Bronx part of Sega's main stable of fighters. I wouldn't want it in a video like this.
You missed some. Keriotosse! and Saturn Bomberman Fight to name a few...
Also, at 2:20 is that Wolf from Virtua Fighter series? looks like his face paint..
Did your final episode of this series ever come out?

Check my old Saturn Exclusives videos. I think I covered it there.
wtf is this guy talking about? KOF 96 soundtrack jazz? there must be like 1 or 2 jazz songs in the game out of 15 songs...
Dragon Ball Z Legends here in the US I love on PSX

just got guilty gear xrd and I'm watching the credits and the SEGA name comes up can you elaborate
Arc System Works is owned by Sega Sammy. Simple.
I love PSX for WWF games

What about last bronx
Oh crud, was hoping Mortal Kombat Trilogy got to Saturn okay. Oh well...
Damn, the only thing ruining your reviews are the repeated criticizing to the wonderful SNK soundtracks. It seems so ignorant to me!
Matter of taste. Snk soundtracks are quite overrated.

What's your fave NFL team? The white hat can he anything! My profile pic will tell you mine haha.

The thumbnail says Shit Combo.
Dragon Ball-related fighting games are so repetitive.
Still are. Just like the shows.
