for some reason "it's not a language problem, i understand everything you're saying, i just uh,,, what is this game?" is so funny to me and i have no idea why
There are 26 cases in front of you that hold various amounts of money from $0.01 to $1 million. You pick the case that you believe holds $1,000,000. After that, you start selecting cases. Whatever is in those cases is not in your case. Then, the banker will call to give you an offer to buy the case for as little as possible. You’ll decide whether to take the deal or play on and eliminate more cases.
Robert Lopez had the guts to do what every unfortunate contestant wanted to do without going through the television drama and got right to the point of this game: pick a number, see the outcome (good or bad), take it in, move on to the next. Funny thing was, he truthfully didn't know what he was doing and wasn't even trying.🤣🤣🤣
This is cracking me up so hard because it's true, I bet a lot of people would be confused if no one explained a damn thing about how to play. Also, when he immediately tried to open his case, that just killed me. 😂😂😂
@@averypitts5464 lol it's basically just RNG. When they show all those money values on screen there is one case for each of those values with each case having only one money value inside. The contestant first chooses one case to keep and then starts opening cases, eliminating money values from the game. After each round of eliminating cases the "banker" will make a deal to the contestant where they will offer the contestant a certain amount of money to leave the show. The amount of dollars presented in the deal depends on what money values are left as if the contestant can only win some of the lower money values they will not offer them a lot of money to leave the show seeing as they are overpaying the contestant for the case. If the player says no deal they eliminate some more cases to which another deal will be proposed. This continues on until the player either accepts a deal or there are two cases left. If the contestant still doesn't take the deal with 2 cases left they are given the chance to swap their case with the one remaining case left and then the case is opened and the contestant leaves the show with the amount of money presented inside the case.
The only reason I understand this game is because a stats teacher made us do statistical risk analysis on this game. Before that I kinda just yelled with my friends.
“I’m having a nice time but I don’t know what’s happening here.”
This should be my senior quote.
DO IT!!!!
@@andymilstenmusic8520 I have to submit it in a few months we’ll see.
Brody Penn okay, that would be the best quote ever tho
did it end up in the yearbook
@@eIliehehe OMG I FORGOT ABOUT THIS! THE QUOTE I CHOSE WAS WAY WORSE NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo
Antonio is so hilarious in this one.
for some reason "it's not a language problem, i understand everything you're saying, i just uh,,, what is this game?" is so funny to me and i have no idea why
I never understood the deal either.
Fred's Mandel impression gets me every time. And Banderas is great, every bit as confused as I am by this game
You are right, that guy does a great Antonio Banderas impession
Incredibly simple game.
Is that really Howie in season 2 he has a clone and his name is Wayne.
There wasn’t much to know.. It was all just about dumb luck
the briefcase babe sullenly muttering "it's just statistics!" is so good
This is exactly how I felt when I saw the show the first time. xD
Then you are kinda dumb!!
@@pantarei8382 Coming from a guy replying to comment from 3 years ago lmao
@Hamza Suleiman here we go again
Me too
Bwaaah
I was so disappointed when the sketch ended. I want to see this full episode of Deal or No Deal
"It's all statistics!" in the background really cracked me up... Amy was great in this as well
Antonio is so good on this one. His body language is amazing
He should've bought the vowel!
He was out of lifelines.
No whammy
Buy the vowel in the form of a question!
yeah those japanese game shows are hard is hard
One dollar!
Fred Armisen is so ethnically ambiguous that he can play anyone!
Remember when he was obama for a while
And he played women
He should be the third member of Key and Peele
Lol when Antonio opened the case directly 🤣🤣🤣
I thought for sure he was going to say no deal and "because I have 500,000 in this one." Lol
@@jessymonster lol just like the skit with Steve Carrell. But pretty sure Antonio’s character didn’t know how the game works. 🤣🤣
"NONONON" 😂😂
Fred Armisen almost breaking right on the first second of the sketch gives me a peak into heaven.
There's not even a parody here, this is just how the game works
Antonio grabbing the case last second while Fred is passing by is a golden underrated moment 😂😂😂
Fred Armisen is a much better impressionist than he's given credit for.
How do you not love Antonio Banderas?
This sketch should have been a 3 or 4 part Running Gag, throughout the Show !! I actually want to see what he ends up Winning !!
There's another sketch of this somewhere where Steve Carrell plays the contestant. He has a better grip on the game though.
I've watched more from this sketch than the real show. Hits the nail on the head, I've never understood how the real game works

I feel like snl sketches always end so randomly
Endings are hard to write.. just try it
They rarely stick the ending.
Game show skits can always end with time for a commercial break...
Banderas !!!!!!! Great comic abilities!!!
I could watch this for an hour
This was the sketch that has made me laugh the most among all of the sketches in SNL
"Will i need to know mathematics for this?"
Literally my life motto...
2:30 THAT’S… THAT’S THE BANKER! with his hands to his face😂😂😂😂
This confusion could have been avoided if Howie actually went through his spiel that explained the rules.
I would totally watch the real show if this guy hosted it. He sounds like a good host and his expressions are over the top lol
It was Howdy Mandel, so yeah.
@@tyrant-den884 Holy shit really? guess I didn't recognize him without a rubber glove blown up over his head.
Lol its fred armisan, he has a show on hulu called portlandia

LOL! When he tries to open the briefcase
Howie: No wait! Don’t open it!
Robert: NO! NO!
Antonio is hilarious.
"It's all statistics!"
Antonio Banderas is his Clark Kent persona here. Love it when he's his gorgeous self.
lol was actually invested in this game. really wanted to know the out come XD
Looks like he was walking away with briefcase 4 in the end of the video lol
How does Fred look so good with AND without hair?
omg!!! Fred killed this one 😂😂😂😂😂
“I thought it was mine!”
Fred is hilarious as Howie. LOL
When he opened the case lol 😂 😂😂
Antonio should do SNL more often. He has underrated comic abilities.
I fuckin love Fred Armisen 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Banderas is cool and funny....
My favourite part is 1:17, where he almost won by cheating 🤣
“There’s a lot of things going on here” 🤣
Fred’s head movement when he says “deal or no deal”
Deal or Noo Deaal..😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
It's almost like if Dr. Evil became a game show host

This is an insane game.
Is Fred barking a little bit 😆
No he's doing great
Armisen looking like one of the cartel twins from breaking bad
"Stay tuned for no deal or deal!"
He's Bamboozled!
I know he is a great actor and all, but everytime I see the dude I think "the dad from spy kids"
Lol for me it's Assassins with Stallone.
For me, he is the puss in boots.

He does a spot on impression of Howie Mandel lmao
Banderas looks like Kit Harrington at age 45 lol
Thank you.

He's got great comic timing :)
This is so funny 🤣
Antonio Banderas owns a chain of stores in South America that only sells flags. The name of the successful chain is Antonio Banderas’ bandeiras.
That's Numberwang!

Gotta love Fred.
4.17 hahahaha

are you asking? it's from a game show in the 70's
It's from the game show Press Your Luck.
Wow. I understand.
Was waiting for them to come back after the break then.
26 cases. They missed an opportunity to letter them
That man almost opened up his case after that after lady give that to him.

Antonio and Fred❤❤❤❤❤
Fred does great as Howie

Wow felt nostalgic seeing Antonio banderas face again
You actually do need to know math. This may be the most math necessary game show ever. Lots of game theory.
Best SNL skit! 😂
