  • today's video I go over how to prep drywall for primer and paint once drywall is hung and finished.
    note- I dry mopped ceilings & wallsmopped. a microfiber mop. I Did Not Dampen or wet the mop. I periodically cleaned mop by vacuuming the pad with the shop vac. worked great.

    what type of primer and brand did you use. And were you texturing the ceilings after prime.

      Sherwin-williams contractors primer. I did not texture the ceilings. I did 1 coat primer & 2 coats Sherwin-williams ceiling paint. Used a magnum x5 sprayer for ceilings and back rolled. It turned out great.

      @@BZ1340 they're game changing compared to rolling for sure. I primed the whole basement in 4 hrs. Ceilings & walls. Approx. 900sq ft. It payed for itself in that one use IMHO.
