- 'Double Treble'-winning Orlando Pirates midfielder Oupa Manyisa talks to Josta Dladla about training with Man United, being booed by the Bucs' faithful, madness in Lubumbashi, and being forced to join Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Al Ahly trio that JD is looking for is Mohammed Aboutrika, Ahmed Fathi & Hossam Ashour, I eat football for breakfast, lunch and supper.🥰
Jomo from Theunissen, same place where Mothobi Mvala and Pule Mmodi comes from. His name is Gordon April. Its a pity that South African never got an opportunity to see that talent. He was a marvel to watch.
Manyisa ntwana ilike ur personality u dnt undermind anyone
I love Oupa 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿.
That strike in the derby will forever be embedded in my heart as a Buccaneer, Thanks Aceeeeeeeeeeeee!
Mario & George Marfou are the two bros that owned Mpumalanga Black Aces, they are big in the gaming industry and went on to buy the Sun International Corousel Casino following club sale. Great show as usual.
It was always a struggle going to Orlando pirates trials at Mayfair, they'll be in winter, so many player's, it's nice hearing someone like Manyisa that they also went through these hardships
JD remember the late Aaron "Super" Ngwenya? You played with him ko Wits University, he used to have a team ko kasi called Super Stars, he once / twice invited you to help his team ko Mahlobo festive games le bo Lawrence Masegela, Kagiso Denge, "Jomo" was the captain of that team, and after the game you told him that he deserve to play ko PSL n he just need to work harder, he did n went on to be the captain of PJ Stars then later got an opportunity to play for free State stars
The best podcast
Appreciate the love and support!
Yah that man played as a winger, I remember wen thy faced us at moederffontein our training ground, he took me on once on the left I won't the ball ka Spanish tackle but I twisted my finger so bad it took 4 years to hell evrytime I twisted it while at home it reminded me of that man, we had a good battle bcos I was hot untouchable at silver stars the youngest player, taking over from Micheal Kgaile Osace ntwagae, bcis I was playing on eac side of the peach, I infact introduced playing from the back and ODG didn't like that and I'm the first to run up and down crossing at training, my memories at psl,
I'm enjoying this podcast
Even today i don't think there are players that can match manyisa & jail in the middle in there prime
JD, please invite Lehlogonolo Vierra Masalesa and Thapelo Liau will give you their contacts.
Great show but josta must learn to give his guests a chance to answer the questions without interfering...
Let the guest speak fam

the show is all about him now
Ace ace ace gone are those day's ☠️☠️☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️❤️❤️💯
Da Gama yena was not a good manager, he once chased me away from Silver Stars 😭
He used to make players just run.
👆 Player to player interviews are good, passionate and honest. When it's journalists it will be iborati raditaba.
JD! Macarena was an insane player! Brian Macarena Kgafane, it would be lovely to hear his story as well one day.
Nice one gents 👊🏾
Can I be the fact checker for the show?.
Bring all of them mgabadeli we wanna know zikhiphani
🤣🤣 Josta is intrigued by Pirates entlek. Josta is a Buccaneer at heart 🙅♂️
😁
King J! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wish Josta to not over talk too much let the guest answer completely..some questions are left hanging.
Yes he will learn.
If you look at it as a conversation which is what it really is, instead of an interview, then the interjections won't bother you as much as that's how conversations go at times.
Agreed, however JD should allow guest share their perspective and their point of departure.
@AviwrShongwe But sometimes he disturbs the guest's line of narration.
You doing an excellent job
Ja wena Josta menemene ndini
Josta, Gilbert is still alive my bra.
😂😂😂
JD please also invite the likes of Danie Klate and Happy Jele …
Love your show but you should start to fact-check your statements Basil Steenkamp never played for Swallows he played for Pirates. I understand the comparison between him and yourself.
Precisely. Facts-checking is critical
He also played for Sundowns, Pirates got him from Sundowns.
Ace 'Aceeeeeeeee'
But Gilbert Mushangazike is still alive
Bro i think there was Kevin and Gilbert
Guys please try to speak English next time, some of us we don't understand Sesotho
Josta um also ur support can plz give me 1 of the t-shirts been signed by legends plz
Makarina is a G.O.A. T
He was called 🧀
Destiny Makita once killed us against Chiefs..he did not look good on the ball, I am surprise to hear Ace saying he was good on the ball..😮
Basil Steenkamp....😂
He was that good, but just old cause age cheating. Technically he was the same age as them hence he took time to recover from injuries at sundowns cause age was catching up with him.
Oupa Manyisa did not go to Man United and he was never as good as people say he was. He was average at best.
josta you talk too much, let the guest tell the story. you interrupt the topic and it become so boring.
