I bought perfumes when I was in Egypt. They had such a nice fragrance. That was some years ago when our kids were small, but I will neer forget the varierities in the stores. What a wonderful journey you made with your mother, Stephanie and Philip and other friends. I have been watching the videos several times.

You did a fantastic job on the packaging! LOVE that box! Beautiful! And the way you presented it with the rotating image & the smoke. The website looks mystical, too. I kind of wish the bottle for the Hathor one actually looked like Hathor, but the color is good for her, of course. I am a life-long lover of all things ancient Egypt, and have quite an oil collection, myself. I think it's a great idea to create your own fragrances with an ancient Egyptian theme. Love it.

These sound wonderful. Two of my recent favorites together are amber and white musk.

Dear Curtis, thank you very much for this BEAUTIFUL video. I am writing this in November 2023 and I hope that your perfumes had the success they deserved. The box is beautiful in itself. It tells a story that developed further in my mind. Your creations inspired me and you invited us to comment, so I hope that you will not mind my rambling…
I would create three perfumes using the same base- lotus oil. I imagine small recipients in the shape of a god and a goddess, made of naturally scented woods imported from mysterious, distant lands, with different flowers and spices left in the oil…One recipient uncovered in the sunshine all day to capture the scent of the Sun, the other kept with a lid on, in a crypt of a temple (some of your friends in the video spoke of day and night, and rightfully so). Then, after a while, create a third by combining the two; The Mother, the Father, and the Child. I would call the entire set Nefertum and I would illustrate the box with essential bits from a story on the website. The idea of QR code is splendid and could be used in advertising materials so that people read the story on the website and buy the set to remind them of the love story which goes like this…
Once upon a time…before time…There was a god called Amun, The Hidden One. One day, there was light. The Sun appeared in the sky and little did the people know that it was Amun’s heart who had fallen in love with Hathor, the Lady of Love Herself.
But the happy times of light were not to last. Hathor and Amun had a fight- like lovers do- and she left him after she turned into a angry lioness. The anguished Sun became sick with longing and then there was the first sunset humankind ever saw. The lovesick Amun cried and cried in anguish, his tears falling from his eyes creating all the stars. The flowers and the trees of the Earth started to wither in darkness, the night was engulfing life itself everywhere…and people were more and more worried. The wise elders looked at the stars, spent hours upon hours discussing with each other, trying to find a solution…to no avail. Nobody knew what to do.
Meanwhile, the fiery Sekhmet the lioness was hiding in the desert. As she was resting on a mountain, she heard a voice. She looked to the left- there was nobody. She looked to the right- nobody. The light of the Moon whispered to her like the rustling of the reeds on the banks of the Nile. She looked closer and saw the god Thoth as an ibis nested in between the horns of the pale crescent.Thoth told her why the Sun set and how Amun’s tears pierced the dark veil between all the worlds with his starry tears- shards of light falling from his eyes- as he was peering into all the worlds, hoping to at least catch a small glimpse of his beloved. ‘The fate of all Universes is in your hands’, concluded Thoth with a heavy sigh, as he descended in his Moon barque below the horizon. Sekhmet watched the sky for a long time, feeling all her anger dissipating bit by bit, star gazed upon after star… After regaining her beautiful woman appearance, she descended and taught people the greatest secret of all, after which she disappeared, soaring into the skies like a falcon.
All heavens rejoiced at their reunion. ‘Your hair smells of the wild flowers of the desert that blossom in moonlight’, he smiled. ‘Your skin is fragrant like the spices of the thousand worlds your tears created’, she said wiping his last tear which fell down into the Nile, turning into the first lotus flower. When both their hearts combined into a new sunrise, the lotus opened its petals blue like the deep sky nesting the Sun, revealing a baby who opened his big eyes and smiled. His name was Nefertum- the child god that would teach people about his parents whose love will forever linger on Earth as a sweet and mysterious perfume.
I, obviously, cannot write 😄 and I just took some liberties with ideas based on the Ancient Egyptian mythology, but I do feel that every perfume is a story. A love story.

I’m really enjoying watching your excitement and enthusiasm as you make these perfumes as a team🥰💕… I have just sent payment for the AmunRa fragrance and can’t wait to enjoy its scent as I adore sandalwood and use it in a daily incense cleansing ritual. Incidentally, did you come across any spikenard? I love it’s smell and often use the resins and rope incense and oils to fragrance my potpourri and burner. It’s my absolute favourite.
