I never get tired of watching "Get You Alone" because it's such a great example of Baekhyun's acting abilities and impeccable comedic timing. He tells a whole story with just gesture and facial expression and he is so smart and funny in that video. Baekhyun is such a natural leader and I really think part of the reason SuperM is so comfortable and so fun is because of him and Kai and Taemin making it that way. Baekhyun was just himself and also looked after everyone so well. Kai didn't take him too seriously and teased him right back as they always do which made everything so relaxed. (It almost reminded me of how Taeyong and Doyoung upped their natural "bickering" and teasing during NCT2020 to break the ice and make sure people were laughing and having fun. I wonder how much of that was because Taeyong was just coming off of months of working a lot with SuperM for SuperOne album and he said he learned a lot from Baekhyun about being a leader.) Taemin was laughing all the time and also quietly being so caring. They all did such a great job of creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere so everyone could really become friends and have a great time together.
in the get you alone mv he was actually playing two characters; “the love coach” that has the tv show and “nerdy” one who got rejected at the beginning, so he was basically teaching himself how to have game lmaooo. The concept alone is adorable and when i was watching your reaction on patreon and you mentioned how it feels like there should be a disco ball and stuff i laughed so hard because wow the irony lol
I really hope the person, he wrote these love songs for, has been able to cope with him being in the military 😄 his personality is so big, i can't imagine how it must feel to not have him around if you're used to that
Privacy is one of my all time favorite Baekhyun songs. it’s incredibly underrated but it’s so special. it’s so interesting cuz it’s like this really classy jazzy piano BUT mixed with these modern synth sounds in the chorus and it works soooo well together. i love that you also “understood” the song in that sense

RJ, thank you for this reaction! Like you, I've heard the songs and imagined the "setting" as I listened. I'm not always spot on, but I love watching how he stages his story in each song. Also, with his Japanese album, it caters more to the jpop world in the same way that CBX does their Japanese songs. I loved the piano as well. It was a jazzy piano in an R&B song. His vocals completed the art of the sound to make a masterpiece. Please know that we all love our Baekhyun as much as you do! (We all need a little silliness to go with the talent). Have a great day!
