Just want to say how you were the first woman I found on YT that was as informative as you & you alone made me want to get my CDL. You genuinely helped put my mind at ease because you helped me learn what to expect out there. Currently in the process of finding the right company for me that will hire me with my slightly blemished background, so I can go on to school (been searching for literally 3 months straight every day; after wanting to get my CDL for 3-4 years, it's finally time for me to pursue this journey). I haven't given up hope and your vlogs, as well as other females' vlogs, really help me keep that drive alive. Can't wait to get out there! Have you tried calling western express? Or May Trucking? I’ve heard they’re a little more lenient when it comes to driving backgrounds. I wish you the best and stay safe out there!!
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking Western Express is who I spoke with and they’re okay with my background, almost “too okay” if you know what I mean. But, I’ve heard a lot of negative things about them & I just don’t want to be set up for failure by “settling” with them. But, I may have to. I was just very hesitant with all the negative things I’ve heard about Western Express. I’ll give May a call also though. 😊

How long do you usually stay out as a team? We try to get home every month, but sometimes stay out 6 weeks.
We usually stay out about 4 weeks but this time we were out for 7 weeks
I dunno if you use fuelman or not to charge diesel. Like i said i worked 3rd shift at a truck stop. Sorry so many comments. I took Fuelman and it was pretty dope. Like, idk $1,000,000 in diesel? Idk idk lol jk jk jk
I worked 3rd shift and that was dangerous enough.
But my fave part of all of it was stickin the tanks. With that long ass stick. Flammable AF. Once i did that i was off work. I looked forward to it. How i found out Kerosene is red. Erryone i talk to looks at me funny! Hahhehehahheh. Nasty truckers eat cans of corn

Good road footage.
Flip flops again? DOT does watch YT also, because people show what they do wrong. Another driver showed all of his re-design work on his trailer and DOT showed up at his house and permanently put his trailer OOS.
I think it’s probably people calling DOT to complain because they want to see other people get in trouble. Some people just can’t mind their business or just don’t wanna see people happy. That’s my opinion.
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking In some cases that may be true but I have heard DOT officers say, the first thing they often do is open the driver's door to check if the driver has closed toe shoes or boots and there is no clutter on the floor. You do a good job on most things and I don't want to see you get jammed up on something simple or silly.
