"Down in front" it's amazing how such an innocent phrase can cause such an emotional reaction. Its a phrase my grandfather would say. He would say it teasingly, so it's got loving memories. He's been gone since 2002. It's been such a long time since i thought of it. To hear Jay say it - that phrase in a male voice - it just took me back 20+ years. This riverboat cruise has been wonderful to watch, I love seeing the actual cities and areas you visit so much more then the canned Caribbean ports that are covered so often. But scuba Dee is still fun when she sees some interesting fish or critters.

That castle is magnificent! I could happily spend days wandering through those rooms, admiring every piece of furniture, art and antiques. What an incredible opportunity!
This was fun and fascinating. When you reached the kitchen in the castle all I could think was the song Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast and I saw all those copper pots dancing
As much as I love watching your typical cruise vlogs, this type of vacation is by far my preference! I’m happy to see you guys branching out and exploring Europe, too!!! I would highly recommend the Mediterranean (Italy, Greece, and Turkey) on the Celebrity Beyond!
We’ve only done one river cruise and it was fabulous. We did the “Castles on the Rhine” Amsterdam through Germany (13 stops) Vienna, Austria, and finally Budapest, Hungary. Loved it! Highly recommend.
What a beautiful castle. I now had to go there someday. I think I wait till beginning of summer, because the weather here is not so good in autumn/winter as you experienced. It was funny to hear Dutch in the background. At first I didn’t got it, but I heard something familiar. Later I heard more. They talked about the kitchen things.
We haven't yet! Our only European visits have been Iceland, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Portugal so far. We've got Mediterranean plotted for 2024, but we'd love to do some river cruising in Christmas market territory!! :D

The second guide had it right. The sounding is fairly harsh. The Castle has cos play event in the gardens in spring as well, it is an amazing place.
