Enjoyed the series this far. A beautiful church I probably could have stayed there all day long. Amazing arts and sculptures nothing else that you will see. Simply beautiful. Makes me want to take a river boat cruise and thanks for sharing.
I really like vlogs, videos and ParoDeeJay is one of my favorites (I might have a dozen or more ok 2 dozen+) that I watch but man oh man... Dee's photography is great. I really LOVE photography as a medium and I find that 'Photos by Dee' are really enjoyable, but todays were EPIC! Notably, I loved seeing that crown of thorns up close! Thank you!
Love this video series! I just love going into & seeing all the beautiful churches in Europe, nothing like them in the U.S., love seeing all the old buildings & what craftsmanship was put into them...
I wanted to take my mother on a river cruise, but she passed away before we got the chance to go. I'm so happy that I got the chance to come with you on your journey! I haven't been to the Netherlands in a long time, but it is still gorgeous! Dee is a great dancer, but Jay's got some moves too! Happy holidays to you both, and best wishes for 2024! Keep on cruising and rock on!!❤
@user-ez4jy6jj4g I was talking about the cruise in general, not just Anywerp. These days, it seems that everyone's a critic, but truly, if you don't have something good to say, please don't say anything at all.
After watching this video, I want to visit Antwerp!!! I’ve been to Amsterdam, and this is so beautiful and similar, except for the canals ☺️ I think it’s interesting that the longer the cruise goes on the less people are partying into the night! All the walking tours really got me tired when I cruised the Rhine with Viking!
On our river cruise the people who ran the locks went on strike for 24 hours. So, we got as far as we could and then for the next day took buses to our planned stop while the ship waited for the strike to end and then went ahead of us. So the buses took us to where the ship had gotten and we continued on our way. They have lots of plans in case of issues (water too low or too high, strikes etc)
This cruise is exhausting me just watching it. Heres why I could never do the youtube thing, you guys are having a fully rained out cruise, you're taking a ton of tours and doesn't look like much unstructured time but your on a comped fam trip and they invited you guys down to do you thing, and no matter what you gotta get the content even if it's rainy even if you'd like to have a day off....I'm feeling cold, wet an tired just watching this playlist. And I'll be honest this is why when I go to europe I tend to just gop to one place for an entire week and not go to multiple countries, I personally have a limit as to how many churches etc that i can see in a 7 day period and I prefer to stay in one place and just gbet to know the nooks and crannys of that one place. I wen to Venice for a full 8 days instead of just taking a day opor two and the experience was 1000% different just getting to stay just there and not rush off to visit roam 8 hours later Jay, I 100% get your soup frustrations, I've had them myself. That is NOT a cream soup dammit!. Plus I gotta be honest with you, all the foams are a little gross. As Tony Bourdain said, thanks but no thanks on the foam, I prefer as little jizz like substances on my food as possible, maybe you guys like the foams, but it seems like they insist on serving you guys something with a foam at least every day
It was definitely intense, ha ha. We weren’t both comped and this wasn’t a FAM trip, so there were no expectations from Ama about producing content for them. Dee’s fare was covered other than port fees and taxes as a reward for having top sales in her company, no strings attached, but mine was full fare. We went along on the excursions, rain or shine, because we were genuinely excited to experience some of these towns which we might never see again, and we loved it overall. Cruising in general, be it river or ocean, seems to be a nice way to see a little bit of a lot of places, but a lot of no particular place. It’s a nice way to find spots you’d like to come back to and spend more time in for sure though, and a leisurely week in some of these areas would be amazing!! :D ~Jay
@@parodeejay have you yet had the experiance of being served pork at rare or medium rare ? Like I get it, we have reached the point of understanding food saftey that there's no diffrence between eating pork rare versus beef, but I gotta be honest the first time I had a suasuge in itally somewhere and it was rare in the centre I had to stop for a second.. I grew up in a kosher home and even though I'm 56 and was only kosher for 12 years I think I might be more sensitive to rare pork than perhaps others. I ate it, it was amazing, but that first time I did sit there for a second and look at it, and I am not someone afraid of food. I eat organ meat , I have eaten some things in Asia happily that terrify people here in the west I will not trip out on being served a kidney or lung, but rare pork was a moment.
Don’t mind the waiter, all wait staff are rude in Belgium, don’t know why, it has always been this way. Hence why we are shocked when they aren’t in other countries. Also remember they don’t have to life on tips alone so they can act up
Would love to take a river cruise sometime!

The architecture is beautiful. If the walls could talk what stories they could tell
Excellent! Thank You.
This has been a wonderful experience following your trip. So much history love this type of trips.
Super enjoyable video… Thanks for all you do, and taking time to film these videos for us🚢

No it isn’t like Amsterdam at all, two completely different cities
Jay you’re hilarious. Waiter put the rude in rodden. Lol 😂
Great video, I loved Jason's response when you asked him how it was downstairs and he said creepy.

Good day. Do you have the spelling of that building that you were not allowed to take a photo of? sounds very odd like. cheers

The grouchy smurf!
Similar rudeness in France. Because they don't get tips, polite service is not part of the job in their eyes.
