The Moleskin turned out really nice. Ok- I’m going to ramble. Feel free to ignore… I’ve been trying to get into journaling (the various types) because it seems to be a calming activity, but the very decorated journals (ie with ephemera/ scrap/ travel tickets, stickers) look daunting; I don’t even know where to begin with the decor, stamps, washi-tape, etc…). So, instead, I just watch these videos and keep kicking that journal bucket further down the road. If you did instructional type videos on how to get started, I’d enjoy those. Also- I would like to find a journal with (I think it’s called) onion or rice paper??? I used to sketch on rolled-sketch paper or vellum, and I really like the character of sketches on thin translucent paper. Would you happen to know which journal pad/notebook has paper with a translucent property (similar to rice/onion) paper - even if it has lines or text? Thank you! I enjoy your videos very much!
I took a look at the Leuchtturm daily too but I didn't like the page design! There's a gap at the bottom of the page, where there are no lines and I knew for my purposes that I didn't need that (and would only make me overthink how to fill it up) 😂
I just decided last night that I wanted to try a daily log so the days aren’t just passing me by. 🤣 This little moleskine is perfect!! I love starting a new journal, it feels like starting a new friendship. Unless that’s just me? LOL. P.S. If you enjoyed Spy x Family, I think you’d like buddy daddies!
