    Never Be Without Power again.
    My Three most used sayings are.
    1) A house roof looks unfinished until it has solar panels on it.
    2) A man is not looking after his family until he is producing his own power.
    3) Solar systems can be kind of pricey at first. Having power when no one else does, PRICELESS

    Be interesting to see how it goes.
    Mine's still in the box, I'll likely give it to my son to install on the camper trailer he's planning to build for himself (& his wife).
    Cheers 😁

      I've seen some videos on this unit that are more than 10 years old, so they have been around for a long time with the same unit. That says a lot!!

      Yes the old units has a stainless steel tank. Now they have a SPCC (mild) steel & enamel tank. ausj.com.au/products/duoetto-mk2-digital-water-heater-10l-12v-240v

    Australia post workers are not in the habit of stealing parcels. Looking at the time period, more likely destroyed in the truck crash.

      It turned up. Was held Hostage by Australia post in SA for a month. lol. After they investigated. It mysteriously got found and turned up. Not sure how you could loosed something that big. But i am sure they must have a huge pile or post in SA and some of it just keeps not getting loaded.

      John my friend. I really hope you are doing well mate. Have not had any notification's from your channel for a while. Mind you we have been in and out of town a bit lately taking Sigi to the Doctors. Still waiting to hear back from them. Sigh. It's really cutting into our traveling budget.

      @@JMAAD Yes mate. We have been making our own bread for years now. We have friends that have orchards and large veggie gardens that give us potatoes and lemons and other stuff. But Sigi is now looking at planting some tomato's and other stuff like herbs in out back yard as well. Just a small patch to see how it goes. Been putting off a trip out bush due to Health problems with Sigi, But i think we just about have that all sorted and am hoping to get away before Christmas.

    Keen to see it in action. What are you reasons for choosing this over one of the instant gas heaters?

    • @JustinCaseSolarPower
      @JustinCaseSolarPower  Год назад +2

      My Daughter has an over priced portable gas heater, Electric start takes 2x D batteries. Just does not get hot enough and for it to work it has to be set up each time. This 12v 240v unit will be permanently mounted and get 10 litres of water to 70c. That works out to my wife and I both having a shower. Because it's so hot you need to use very little out of it. It's insulated so i will leave it on overnight (Jest the Hot water unit) to see how much power it consumes staying Hot on 12v only. Lots of testing to do. But first i need to install it. 🙃👍

    So you are in hot water well maybe not yet lol

    • @JustinCaseSolarPower
      @JustinCaseSolarPower  Год назад +2

      That is my Hope. Will be doing some 12v power use testing on the system just to see how it goes overnight, see if it can be left on 24/7 when we are out and about in the bush. I know Sigi will just love having Hot water at the Sink and a Hot shower. Pure Luxury 😁
