Hi i think your both right! There r loads of good muslims who have great sense of humour and r open minded. However,Islam is a literist theology and many practicing muslims consider being open minded wrong. And as to the 'Crusades' remember that the middle east was christain before the muslims conquered that area. Also, at the time of the crusades the muslims had stopped christain pilmgramages going to the 'holy land'. Imagine what would happen if we stopped muslims going to Mecca!?
