I feel like you guys should really have more than 39k subscribers. I’m a deere guy, but don’t mind the red lol. Good content, have a good and safe harvest!
Exactly my comment for the last 2+ years… Ivers Farms should have 10x the subscribers it currently has now!! I subscribe to all the other popular farm channels and Reese’s videos are as good or better than the other channels with 400k, 600k or 1M subscribers. I’ve left comments on those other channels promoting Ivers Farms so I hope people wise up and tune in to this channel.
Took the words right out of my mouth. And they farm what 11,000 acres.? Way more than the other RUclips farmers in the Midwest.
Ivers is a great channel
Been saying that for a while now.
1 video a week doesn't make the RUclips algorithm happy is why.
I sub to a lot of farm channels on RUclips. You always have the best content and are one of my favorites for that very reason. You guys have such a fantastic operation and it’s a pleasure to get to watch it every week! Thanks for bringing us a long for the ride!
Also it has to be aggravating to buy a brand new machine and have a leak that that! For that kind of money things like that shouldn’t happen!
Always enjoy hearing from you
All equipment have problems! This country makes crappy quality these days poor steel manufacturers from china sealed bearings that should hold up better I know grease fittings are a pain in the a$$ but they last longer, those new electric grease guns help alot
"We got the dog back there", poor Jay! 😂 @dennis, thanks for showing us the air compressor blowing off the head, super cool!
Love the organization and cleanliness on your farm
Great work giving the viewers a high quality video. Content, camera work, and editing are all excellent.
Here in South Central Kansas, I work for a farm that's a good 5 miles outside of Conway Springs, we finished harvesting all our corn, and we have one irrigation. We were hoping it would be close to 200 bushel corn, but it only ended up being 160 bushel corn because there were some spots where the corn was down
Love the Family of Farming, so very impressed with clean, maintained equipment of any Color. God Bless you all for a Safe Harvest
Such an awesome video! I enjoyed every moment of it.
You and the MF are my favorite by far. I look forward to your video every Sunday morning. Great content 👌
Awesome video again! Amazing how it doesn’t matter what machine new or used the first couple days always brings the weak points out. Good luck with the harvest and have a safe week.
Slightly used 1 yr old machines are my preference. let someone else get the factory bugs out and pay the new cost. Especially now a days
Nearly spit my raisin bran out to the dawg in the back comment and Jay’s reaction 😂😂
This is real farming no matter what color it is, it breaks down...Great Vid
You boys getting off to a ruff start. Even with new equipment there's no guarantee. That's farming.
No but having a warranty is worth its weight in gold for an operation of this size. Knowing they will be delivered a backup machine if they have a catastrophic failure is a lifeline when the corn is ready.
Getter done boys!!! Have a great harvest. Hope David feels a hundred percent quickly.
He’s good, a broken wrist is pretty minor for him
Glad to see you guys harvesting Reese and team. Looking forward to the bi-weekly videos.
Thank you for the harvest video I have been looking forward to seeing them .
Great video as always. Really appreciate that you are up-to-date on your videos instead of weeks behind. I wonder if you’re combines were made during the strike? Hopefully the other two hold up better. 😬
That’s good that you are getting the other side of the shop insulated. You can use it as a “shop” when you need to instead of just storage.
I really like The Blow Rack of nozzle’s and how they Work!
I heard your comment about people commenting on missing corn, I noticed it too but, when it is in that shape, your dad is getting it well as best he can
I was wondering if you all would start this week. I was up thru central IL last week and some outfits over there were already started and the corn looked ready. Hate to see you are having the new combine start up problems but that is how it goes got to get the bugs worked out of it then hopefully you will have a trouble free harvest. Great job on the videos
Mornin Reese love this part of the season . Getter done
Me too
Can’t believe the problems with a new combine!! Doesn’t say a whole lot for Case’ quality control. I was really surprised at the amount of green leaves on the plants with 23+% of moisture.
That just shows how healthy the corn is.
Just a couple of minor things, the fungicide sure keeps the leaves green for awhile
2 bad hoses is a lot of problems? 🤣. They said the neighbors new X9 water pump failed first week.
Sorry to see the first week of harvest has been so rough.
Very nice facilities and equipment. Tobacco is picked here and hay cut twice, but the corn is still growing.
Love love love the harvest videos the drone shots are awesome
Great. Well done . Good luck.
I had to empty corn out of the belly of a combine one time. That was back in the day when there were no sensors to tell me there was a problem.
Thank you
I really like all your videos
Great video. Stay safe out there
Love seeing all the Red
i enjpyed watching ur video
Good video’s. Always look forward to them every week. Love the drone music too. Got to get the little quirks out of new equipment but it’ll happen.
I just love the manner in which you make videos and I'm glad it's harvest season. Feeding the world. Good luck boys.
Glad to see you guys
I like the Case equipment. Just subscribed to this one. Watch Larson Farms and Millenial as well as Mike Mitchell(50,000+acres)and Dustin Bezugly(12000 acres) in Saskatchewan. Ivers looks like a great operation. 🇨🇦👍
Welcome to the channel
11,000 acres in southeast Illinois and southwest Indiana
Jay riding behind the cab would have made a great thumbnail! 😂
I seen a farmer combine beans today around Jasper Indiana the dust was flying lol be safe everyone hope you have a record harvest god bless all farmers
Must be a Friday built combine! Three breaks in first 20 hours!!!!! Not real good but Case Johnny on spot to fix
Enjoyed
purty said to have that much trouble with a new combine in 15hrs when i had one broken wire and one bearing go on my s670 last yr on 2300 acres of corn and beans with a machine that has3200 engine hrs on it
Praying you all stay safe and have a profitable harvest this fall !
Guess getting new machines don't guarantee problem free operation, sad quality control. Love the drone music too.
Looks like some good corned picking to me
The quality of new equipment of all colours needs some DRASTIC IMPROVEMENT. Downtime is the big issue but Case certainly stepped up to the plate by offering a loaner combine last year. For the cost of the new equipment one would think they could be built better.
I’ve never been run over by a track before and I kinda liked the experience! Unintentional, but awesome. Sorry it killed your GoPro.
Wow I bet that was painful
Dennis, you need to patent, market your blower system...also...could you share that video with
"Triple "R" Farms in Alabama...he uses a crowbar to clean his right now...thanks...
Post this link on his page to see
That dam combine must have been built on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon we run 4- 8250s and they have been doing really good love love love them.
thanks from australia!!
Have a great safe harvest. Good luck 😊
Great video, again! Nice attitude on all the problems with the Case. Sure hope there are no more. Love all the content and quick output. Makes it easy to feel like we are there with you. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
Way 2 go y’all, all that red power sure looks good👌🏻always a fan of the drone footage Reese. Y’all stay safe, take care and God Bless🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Excellent video .... great job!!
Have a Safe Harvest! Thanks for the great video's!
I say nothing. Loving the red stuff. Consistent. Thanks for your time and effort. Another great video. I really think you are the most patient people on the planet. Lexion
Isn’t getting new equipment always a joy. Down time isn’t good at all. They keep making more and more stuff that doesn’t last. Simple fixes are the best. Have a safe harvest. God bless
🔥for corn stand like that, the head and machine sure doing a nice job 🔥👊🔥🔨🏍⚙️🚜
Hard to believe moisture is 23% with how green it looks, but understand taking it off when you can’t row the corn from the cab! Be safe and keep it between the rows!
Fungicide seems to make it look greener than it is
Reese, I admire how you stay so calm when mechanical issues arise. LOL
Howdy Ivers
Dang Reese our corn is still green as can be we haven’t even started chopping it yet . hopefully next week we’ll start filling the bunks .
Good job guys, my favorite farming channel....greetings from France !
Are you going to do the acres at the end of the harvest videos this year? I enjoyed that.
Yes, I forgot to put it on there. I’ll make sure to get it on there Wednesday
Thanks for another great video Reese. Kinda jealous, you guys are harvesting corn already. We've got another month of tomato harvesting up here in southern Ontario before we can even think about corn harvest. I can't wait!
We had the clean grain clutch burn out of our 8250 couple falls back, technician figured wrong clutch was installed from factory from Legacy combine with softer springs. Anyways, hope you guys have a good safe harvest with great yields!
Great video!!
I can't believe your not having problems the sithves for
Lookin good boys we’re hoping to start next week in Illinois cuttin corn
Great video Got some great drone footage.Alway have to get the the bugs out of the new machine. Corn seem like it is yielding good even with down corn, Corn head is doing good job of picking up corn,Sound like you should have a good week next week.👍
Good hearing from you as always. Hope you’re doing well
It seems like problems start with new equipment. Looking good!!
Sure would like to see some of your softball team's action. Always really enjoyed playing softball.
Next year
Hopefully the other 2 new combines don't have the same issues. My favorite channel to watch every week.
Always good to see George. I am guessing that clutch did not get assembled quite right at the factory. The blown hose, where it just seemed to blow in the middle, I am wondering if the pressure was set correctly ? Thanks for the video.
Maybe, I’m wondering if it got nicked on the install
@@iversfarms that would do it. 👍👍
I hope all your new bugs are gone for the year, hope the dryer issues are gone, hope the weather cooperates, and you have a record harvest!!
few teething problems with new combine but great video
Huge red fan,,, kind of a bummer start...
Reese that 715 would look good pulling that grain cart
I agree
Color does'nt matter they should run longer than 8-15 hours even though warranty covers they don't pay for down time and hired help standing around waiting. Had 8RX370 track off tracking took 3 months to come and get tractor that was supposed to be fixed 1st week of June. Nothing but excuses for not getting the tractor just no pride in what needs to be done anymore
Shit we bought a brand new 7250 combine here in New zealand last year and our first day harvesting barley it blew a coolant hose and my dad cooked the engine by the time it told dad it was hot. It was to late . We wernt happy.
I bet not
I feel mae wes has better snout savers than the OEM
Tell your dealer to bring your old one back..lol
Case Ih better start working on quality control. Hate to lose a Red RUclips channel to Green. All of our soil command sensors on our new 875 Ripper blow out the ends of the cylinders last year when it was new.
Down corn is always a challenge. At least it's not to the point of needing a corn reel to keep it fed into the head. Glad you're under warranty on the parts mishaps. Bummer when things crap out with just a few hours of operation though. Downtime is part of life with an older machine...still wouldn't trade our axial flow for a conventional!!! Have gotten comments at the terminal on the quality of sample relative to the age of the machine.
Yeah the corn head is doing great and just a few little things
Really something to be said for the price they charge for these things, yet a lot of Chinese parts used such as bearings, and ujoints. I remember David’s combine had a half hour on it last year and the pto took out the oil pan. Yes there’s warranty but these things should not be happening. Another good video guys, cheers! 😎🤟
Great content Reese as always. Glad you decided to continue. I am a little bit frustrated for you guys in that, with purchasing 3 brand spanking new combines, Dennis is suffering the break downs he is having already straight out of the gate with manufacturing defects. Ivers farms is a class A farm operation and the dealers you support should not be sending you subpar equipment. Just my 2 cents on that.
It would be nice if you ever get all the bugs worked out of that new machine
That new combine looks good, but a coolant line, air line and bearing out in the first 15 hrs of running. Doesn't say much for the quality of parts Case-IH uses
Nice Vid!
👍👍👍👍👍
You guys should go back to last years combine set up or get a green one but I’m really starting to think that newer isn’t always better
🤣
Hey guys I work for Headsight. Not sure if you have your Headsight kicked in to foresight with that downed corn or not but that’ll help the system be much more responsive low to the ground. Let me know if you need any help dialing it it!
Is that an extra subscription or just a setting?
If your running an insight you get a free trial to run it for 6 hours. If you have horizon it’s a factory unlock.
Corn Harvest 2023
What happened to David if he had to go check on broken bones? Pray he is ok.🙏🙏
Broken wrist about a month back. He’s doing well
Must be a Monday machine, disappointing to see a nice machine like that with problems right out of the gate, good luck with the rest of harvest. Looking forward to the mid week videos
Just a few little things
Are those Case combines made by General Motors? Seems like a lot of problems for a new machine. Great video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The new red combines seem so fragile.
Hater
@@JHT843quality workmanship at the factory
Any advantage of letting the corn dry on the cob longer before harvest, to get lower moisture?
Yes, saves on your propane bill and your grain quality will be better in the bin. If we had less acres to cover we would wait
Love how pops call it the track hoe older generation says that and the younger generation calls it a excavator. I with your dad on that one Reese. The new combine should not have had a leak like that it was probably put on late Friday evening at quitting time but should not have happened. I hope and pray you gentleman have a record harvest this year and your efforts are appreciated by us non woke folks. God bless the Ivers family.
Great video. So did the camera survive the excavator? I hope you all have a safe & blessed harvest.
Busted up lens but still works
@@iversfarms That's pretty incredible!
@@marshalloutdoors1791 tough cameras
Great video Reese. Love them. Love all the red. But after watching your videos for a few years I'm really curious how your able to start harvest while your corn stocks are still green? Cuz everyone I know waits till everything is dried dead and brown
Fungicide keeps it greener longer and we got a lot to pick with one combine so we got to get going
👍👀👍
