Agree with previous post - I needed a crash course on this thing - got one on loan to record some authentic analog stuff and needed a short learning curve - this just saved me a couple of hours - thanks for posting.

hey p, i'm currently trying to choose between the two. how do you think the two stack up against each other and which do you like better/think is better? any help is appreciated, thanks g
I find the MG-1 to be much more flexible. Unlike the Rogue, you can choose oscillator waveforms and octaves independently. LFO amount can also be done separately for pitch and filter. This alone makes up for the lack of a mod wheel. And the "polyphony" can be used as a THIRD oscillator. Just to name a few things. I've had and loved both, I'd suggest getting the MG-1. You'll save money and get more options.
New synth demo! The Korg Minilogue. Check it out!

Probably one of the more informative Moog Rogue Demos

THANK YOU so much for this. one of the most, if not the most, informative videos i've seen in a long time.

Wow. A very detailed breakdown. Thank you for that!
I just uploaded a new one for the Korg Minilogue. Check it out!
best demo yet on here. debating which budget vintage moog to get and this covered everything I'd wamt to know/hear. Thanks
great video! best one i've seen yet for gaining a basic understanding of the Rogue, thanks.
Best synth demo on youtube! THX!
Brilliant demo!
Excellent video...thank you!!
you have done a really great Job! - thanks!
I agree! Great video!
YOU MAKE THE BEST VIDEOS
A lot of people say the Rogue is much better than the Radio Shack badged synth but they're both such fun!
Having had both, I definitely agree. Though I think I like the MG-1 a little more.
haha this video is awesome, well done!
Thanks!
Just uploaded a new Moog MG-1 Demo that replaced my Rogue. Check it out.
