No controversy at all. They wanted the judges to sit down and really pay attention to the bars and that's what they did. I was listening to how layered JC material was and it was levels beyond what Swamp was saying. I loved Swamp’s performance (minus choke) but they cheered off the bragging rights bar that's been said 100 times so im like if the judges are listening they would of caught that. That fusball table line been said plenty times before. The Jim Carey mask line/JC etc has been said before and some of the angles weren’t touched in a novel way we hadn’t heard before.
JC’s Championship/Wiggins bar in Rd1 defused Swamp out of the gate.
But because he didn’t get some reactions from the crowd/going overhead, people mistook it for a “dry-spot”, whilst the judges were listening to the bars, not the crowd reaction. JC edged each round and won it convincingly for me tbh. Salute to Swamp (Swamp vs Roc pls).

As someone from the south Swamp is one of my top 5 favorites! Has been for awhile. But he needs to learn from Vets like Goodz make sure he knows how to disguise a choke and not be so honest about it verbally.
