Beautiful song! The flute reminded me of the classic Dan Fogelberg/Tim Weisberg album "Twin Sons of Different Mothers." Also the recording/mix is wonderful as usual; it feels raw, full of texture, yet also well refined and layered at the same time.
Now that I’ve had the time to really listen to this, I must say that the whole thing is incredible. Your past productions have been fantastic, but this is a step beyond. There is a depth in this song that hasn’t been there before. The addition of the woodwinds was brilliant. It adds depth & a mellow quality that none of your past music has. Your music is always top notch, but on this one it’s not about voices or instruments…it all becomes one in a really amazing way. I’m partial & always love to hear more of Josh’s voice, but on this one everything is a beautiful blend. I would give you a Grammy for this one! 🏆🏆🏆

Nice, the second time through I figured I'd play along and I discovered how sneaky complex this tune is That's really an art - when you can weave a melody through changing tempos and odd structures (wonderful you guys)
I'm trying really hard to not be a downer right now but this song hit my heart like a cruise missile. All I can think of is my first love who moved away and unfortunately met her fate at the hands of a freight train when she was 14. I look back on the summer days when we'd look after her brother, they seemed to stretch on forever when I was around Natasha, as if time stopped for just the two of us. I'd give anything to go back to those times.

Im not really into this style of music, but been a fan of this channel for years - from way back when Josh and friends would cover older songs. That being said, the song is still beautiful. Something about this girls voice.... even if not your preferred style/genre of music, you can still appreciate a great tune.
