A point that another video made was that it could be sanded smoothe so maybe a very fine sandpaper would get rid of those brush marks

Can you hand wash before the 28 days? And also I added my oracal 651 vinyl to my mug without adding this mod podge as a base first, will that be a problem?

I wonder if applying just a small amount of heat after smoothing the MP on, would lessen the appearance of the brush marks 🤔 just enough to warm it a bit to flatten it.

CleverDog Designs can we paint a mug with arcylic paints and then apply that mod podge on it???
I used a sponge brayer on mine after I painted on the mod podge and it got rid of the brush marks

Try using make up brush instead of paint brush coz it's much softer.
Maybe stupid question but when it cures does it just sit for 28 days? Or can it be cured with heat?
I followed the directions and it said to let it sit but I’ve never tried it with heat. It’s a great idea though. Let me know how it turns out if you try it before I do💛

Can you add paint to the Mod Podge before applying to cup? I'm looking to use this added to paint for a stencil on a cup

I think it would better without the brush strokes. But putting it down before u apply the vinyl is a good 💡

Hi, Can I print pictures and put them on my mugs using this. And can I use it on my ink jet printer?
You can but I would suggest doing some tests first. When I tried it took off most of my picture but it was my first try with no testing💛
Perhaps seal your photos with a clear coat first? I use Rust-Oleum 2X clear coat.

OK so I did some starbucks cups with this dishwasher safe modpodge and sent them off to the customers. I just did a trial one (yes I know dumb of me doing and sending before trying) and it's peeling. I did 2 layers. This is not good.
Do I have to let it cure 28 days before even using it or let it cure for 28 days before putting it in the dishwasher!?
Hi! I am not an expert at this but all the research I have done has suggested to truly wait the 28 days before any washing, hand or dishwasher, is done. I did see some say they let it dry for several days and then we're able to hand wash. I think waiting is probably best.
@@tasha3676 I wish I would've known this. I read it and thought it meant 28 before putting it in the dishwasher....ugh....🤦🏾♀️ now all my cups I sent out to customers will be ruined!!!!
