Back when I was still actively playing competitively (and drinking), I was at an MLB game with a couple buddies. These buddies were basketball players, always telling me baseball was an easy sport.
After hours of day drinking we strolled past a dimly lit dungeon in the concourse , the fan “batting cage”. These guys said “Hey, you said you can hit a 90 mph pitch, let’s see it.”
I’m handed a bat by the unenthusiastic attendant with my equally drunk friends yelling “turn it up to 90!”
What proceeded was me attempting to connect with a 90 mph baseball coming out of a screen 10 feet away with what can be called a t-ball bat (while filled with a few gallons of Coors Light).
To this day these guys use this combine event to ensure everyone knows how bad I suck at baseball, anytime it comes up.

I can confirm from numerous time testing that if you’re good at any hand eye required sport, in my case I’m decent at golf (most of the time😂) alcohol will definitely make you perform worse. All the ppl who say “oh I play better drunk” it’s bc you are terrible to start. 🤣🤷🏻♂️

you need to do this experiment again, but this time with the pitching machine, cause there where to many variables in this one, but with the machine the throws will be consistent and the only varaible left will be you and your drunkenness
