What did you guys think of this one? Let me know what team/strats you used to beat Vega!

Great job, I am more than curious how did you defeated Raikou, Entei and Suicune portals back to back, as well as Ho-Oh and Lugia fights.
For those who are out of the loop, in Insane Mode Raikou, Entei and Suicune begin the fight with a level above the cap and get the omniboost, while Ho-Oh and Lugia's auras boost only one of the attack and defenses; also, Ho-Oh and Lugia have protective barriers as well. Lugia and Ho-Oh start with one level above the cap as well. Which means that if the cap is level 45, they will be at level 46.
And I wonder how will you defeat Zeph and Galavan... but that would be another story. :p

Thanks bro! Let’s see now, I didn’t record those battles but I’ll try to recall the best I can.
For Ho-Oh, switch start with Gyarados and switch back and forth to magnezone 8 times (Ho-Oh starts +2 attack) Gyarados baits brave bird, switch to magnezone. Magnezone baits earthquake, switch to Gyarados. Do this until you get Ho Oh -6 from intimidates. Magnezone will take some damage, but 4x resists brave bird, and can afford 1 crit and this will still work. Switch to Gliscor who has good defense and is not weak to any of ho ohs attacks, to get rid of the shields. Once shield are down and defenses are lowered, switch back to Gyarados to waterfall, may need one ddance to outpace ho ohs recover.
Lugia: start with weavile, spam ice punch. Even with no bulk investment weavile can take one airslash. Lugia goes for toxic (for some reason) so toxic/ airslash is likely to miss once if weavile is holding lax insense. You’ll be able to destroy atleast 3 shields with a chance to freeze as well. After shields are destroyed, use sturdy donphan to knock off the leftovers and break multiscale. If lugia goes for toxic like an idiot, you’ll get 2 knock offs in. From here, mega altaria can finish the job.
This is how I did it to my best recollection, but I’m sure there’s better ways. For the legendary dogs, I don’t remember much, but I think it involved sturdy donphan + bulldoze and cotton cloud altaria to lower speed.
      Hope this helps!

1 word answers all 5: quagsire
Unaware quag with maxed hp and Def IVs and toxic, catch a wooper (I used 2) and hold off Evo until 40 for to learn toxic.
Start off dogs with mirror coat/sturdy avalugg (easily the most useful mon in the game, especially on insane, or one of them) it will one shot raiku, then toxic the other 2. You only need the avalugg and 2 quags to beat them, you won't need the other 3 slots
      Ho oh lugia
The quags again, now featuring brick break. let ho oh kill itself trying to brave bird 1 quag to death, just wall and squeeze in 2 well timed brick breaks, next another wall breaker to start off lugia(I used my mega metagross but alot of things could work) and then throw the other quag out to toxic and wall till it dies, again 3 mon used
Strats should work for pretty much anyone, considering you have a whole half a teams worth of slots to play with.

Wait, what point in the story is this? I've played through unbound 2.0 and I don't remember fighting Vega again. Is this only on insane? My first guess was post game while you're searching for your mom, but then you wouldn't be level capped at 45. Speaking of which, based on the level cap, this seems a little early in the story for Marlon to have switched sides.

This was right after Marlon switched sides! Between the Maxima battle and the 5th gym. Right after Light of Ruin is first introduced

@@rishabhanand4973 maybe you’re playing an older patch of the game? This is 2.0.3.2 that’s the only reason I can think of. Unless it’s Insane mode only but I don’t think that’s the case. Maybe you just forgot lol
