Watching this in 2022, jealous, because that moment of excitement will NEVER come to Knotts in California. 20 years of waiting.....and counting 😔 🤦♂️
Kudos to Kings Island for putting on a great show for the fans, in park, with fireworks & t-shirts to commemorate the event. Additional kudos, for not forcing a high attendance park, and it's begging fan base to wait an agonizing 2+ decades (& counting) for what they've been asking for.
So, so very jealous, but happy for you all 😢

I was there last night and it was amazing to hear the news at the park and not on social media third hand. I can't wait for spring to get here

GAYSMR Yeah. I really think Kings Island misses out on the opportunity to make the world's longest steel roller coaster. A ride that could extend all the way from Dinosaurs Alive to where Son of Beast used to stand.
There is no giga disappointment IMO. All gigas are amazing in their own right.

@@br00kel0l7 Have you seen Google maps of the park? There is tons of room in the old SOB area behind Banshee. Here is an airplane view that proves it. This coaster could have went all the way towards front of the park close to where The Bat is.

What's weird is all of the B&M gigas are blue.
This is more of a true blue than Fury or Leviathan, Fury is more of a teal and Leviathan is closer to green than blue I'd argue

Right after it said kings island tallest coaster you can hear the crowd say awww. Guess they were hoping for worlds tallest giga

@Zachary Young That doesn't make any sense. All of the giga coasters in the US and Canada are all built in Cedar fair owned parks for now. You mean to say they're giving preferential treatment to themselves?
