    Tornado is the last steam engine built in Britain

      Correction:
      Evening Star was the last steam loco built by BR (in 1960). Tornado was the first mainline steam loco built since Evening Star (in 2008, but the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust). Also other new builds (such as 2999 Lady of Legend) have been completed since that time and the group that built Tornado is now building another loco.
      So I don't think Tornado is the last steam loco to be built in Britain

      It was given the same name as the steam loco because it shares the same distinction of being the last member of the class to be built.
