Thank you! I'm new to the game and I've been wondering what I do with the wrapped bales or how I even transport them to a sell point, I had no idea you have to cut them open first. Your the first video I've watched on this subject that has been clear and so detailed about it all. Thank you so much

I'm using the same cylinder wrapper you have here but it's a pain having to do it 3 times per year and take several trips to sell them. I was wondering if I could get a system with a wagon to balle to wrapper, or maybe square balles would work better as the unload functionality of them works better. Just wanted to find a way to get them in a lorry or something

For the machine at 6:45 I wish they had in the description you had to bring the bales to the machine & pull it around with your tractor. Had to cancel an entire mission for field 71 because I messed up bad making the bales larger

I was trying to use that one this morning and I learned the front is for transport and an attachment comes out the side. I don't understand how you use it.
What about the baler that bales and wraps? How do you use it? Also do you have to buy the wrap? If so where?
I got the CLAAS one but it won't wrap or give me an option to turn off.

Don't need to cut the wrap off the bales (at least not at the animal dealer) and you don't need to own the biogas plant to sell there, unlike previous versions.
Do you have the Ted the grass to make it hay or what

Playing on frankenmuth map, I make grass bales both 125 and 150, still can’t wrap them with the auto wrapper baler. So confused
Does difficulty affect the fermentation time? My wrapped bales take take two day/months to finish.
I believe the easiest is 1 day, medium is 2, hardest is 3. For one day months

If you’re on elm creek you have to drop off the bales on the top part by the bin. Not where the green circle is, drive around to the top, and unload there

Can you not use workers on balers? Do you have to do it all manually?
The standard workers have never worked for baling in this series. There might be mods that work, but I've not found any that do (or at least I've not found any that I can get to work...)

I’m doing all this but nothing is wrapping my bails. I’m on ps4. I’ve restarted and re bought everything. Nothing works.
Are you using the Tedder first? It has to be grass to wrap, not hay. I found I couldn’t wrap them after using the Tedder!

I made square grass bales and ive tried 3 of the wrappers and none of them work. What do I use? The contract said to mow the grass, bale it, and wrap it. But the wrappers wont take it.
I think you can only wrap large square bales. The cheap square baler makes 120 cm bales. The wrapper only wraps squares starting at 180 cm. It's stupid but I learned that lesson the hard way as well

I am on PS5 no mods, and I cannot get any wrapper to unfold, I thought it was a bug so I tried the baler with wrap included and it is throwing them out unwrapped am I missing something?

@@teresa6775 I figured it out, I was trying to make silage but I was teddering the grass so it was drying out so it would not wrap and make silage ,cut grass and bale it up wet and everything is good.

I know little of farming, and new to the FS genre. Leased and autowrapper but the bale aren't being wrapped, is it because they are straw swaths from wheat?

@@before_times3298 wheat bales you use as a food for cows or whatever they don't ferment
wheat makes straw for bedding. grass once teatherd makes hay (food for horses) and grass make silage (food cows and pigs ) u can only use the wraper on grass bales

So I used the poettinger Impress 185vc pro which is a baler and bale wraper. I made sure that the bale size is 150cm however it won't wrap the bales. I own the land and the baler. What am I doing wrong?

Ok so i made this reply while playing fs22, doing bale wrapping, it seems that the baler had produced a 180cm bale when i had it set to 150, it works now

Why wont the POttinger Impress 185VC pro not autowrap for me. It should be able to do both, and I know it wont wrap 180 cm.. but i cannot get it to do any size 125 or 150.. it just releases everytime and no wrapping? HELP.. There must be some button or hotkey to tell the machine whether you want it just baled, or wrapped at either 125 or 150. So how does it know to do which? This isn't working at all for me and many others too.. could it be a bug? PC by the way.

@@teresa6775 you can only wrap grass. If you perhaps used a tedder it is now hay and not grass anymore.
@@bankhanger2 Thanks for the reply. I purchased the Big M. Changed it to "swatch" down the middle. Then, the baler worked fine. This game gets kinda dumb with it's lack of explanation of things, so it's such a good thing there is a community willing to help each other.
I have some beef with everything-Bale, but the most annoying thing... is wrapping.
I made sure the size matched, the content matched. 100% grass, 125cm, Round bale.
Somehow the bale wrapper made for wrapping bales, that are ROUND, 125cm in size... tells me that "the bale is not supported"...
Material, type / shape, size, age... Everything is correct as far as I have been taught. But its not working when not on any contract.
Own land, own equipment btw.

im on console but the wrapping feature wont work for me, even when i turn it to manual unload it still doesnt give an option to wrap it, it makes me really mad because i wanted to do something besides just grapes so i did grass for my other field and because i was low on money a leased everything so now i have 5g relying on silage bales that i cant make, also spent extra money on the baler with a wrapper so i could make silage bales
Did you turn both machines on? Xbox you have to toggle the Y button usually to change the attachment and on the quick menu top left you can tell that attachment what to do then toggle back to others as needed
This sounds more like operator error to me. You have to select each individual tool that is connected to front and back of the machine. Toggle each tool by pressing triangle on PS or for Xbox press Y.

@@mikekleinleugemors4336 You can't wrap hay bales, only grass bales. It's frustrating, I get it. There are three types of bales that can be made with balers, but no where does it actually state that only grass can be wrapped. Under the wrappers it says they are used to wrap grass, but it does not say you cannot wrap hay, even though hay can be used to make silage IRL.
I can't sell silage bales at the biogas plant on Erlengrat from the trailer. I have to fork them into a bin, but it only takes a couple. The animal dealer works.

Buy the autoload trailer and dump the bales on the top area. They will auto sell as they offload.

A lot of bales in my game can not be wrapped? I have a contract and it says nothing when trying to wrap. Doesn’t pick them up or anything like your video. They’re square if that matters

Not getting bale size on the control hints using a controller.
Hold the R1 bumper and it gives you more options. Make sure you have the correct attachment highlighted and you should see bale size adjustment by pressing the right thumbstick in.
@@Shredderof_POWDA I'm using the wheel and side panel but I figured something out. If I wiggle the mouse the controls auto switch back to keyboard and show me the sizes.

The one that cost $34,500 does not work at all it has a bug where it won't unfold
You have to unattach it from the tractor and actually "drive" it to unfold it. Go up to it when its not on a tractor and press the same button you use to drive the tractor

I need to know this too. I just made a field full of square grass bales and I can't figure out how to wrap them.
No matter what I do. I can’t wrap bales. Is there something in the settings that I’ve turned off that may have effected it. I’ve DL mods. It worked for one day then stopped. The two balers that come with the game they won’t wrap the game. I’ve tried all the sizes. The wrappers don’t work. Nothing. I’ve changed the size to what it requires. I want to cry.
Are you using the Tedder first? It has to be grass to wrap, not hay. I found I couldn’t wrap them after using the Tedder!
Alot of people are having that same issue. I finally shut the dmn computer off before I threw a brick at the screen
@@teresa6775 I have figured it out with the help of the community. Just cut the grass but don’t use the Tedder or the machine that turns the grass. Either you can get the big M lawn mower and change the work style so the “swath” goes in a nice straight line for bailing or get a windrower to make the grass into a neat long pile. Then you take either the bale wrapper to bales or use the balers with the wrappers attached. Pay attention to size. To big and it won’t wrap. Like most things in life I might add lmao. No you can wrap rectangle bales you just need a certain bale wrapper.

@@drummerbum1398 it’s been 1 year I can’t remember lol. But when buying it there should be a rectangle bale somewhere. When you see this it means it can wrap rectangle bales.I could quickly download it and check if you can’t find it :)
Can you hire an AI to bale the grass? I keep trying but it makes me create a path instead of them automatically doing the job

You have to disconnect the wrapping trailer from tractor, then you can enter the wrapping trailer manually and unfold it.
One issue is how do I transport? What do I use to pick them up, transport other areas?
Just use an auto-loader or a front loader with a bale spike.

Undeniably a well made tutorial, unfortunately every video on this works with round bales. I have squared bales and none of the machines that say they work are working. I know I'm doing something wrong I just can't figure out what it is.
Omg they complegely screwed up the bale Wrap seriously they have made this the hardest most stupid shit I have ever seen
It's pointless watching this video if you are trying to work out why your baler isn't wrapping.
