Let me explain. Asher is a bit psycho, kidnapping the one he loves AND her boyfriend, and then basically tries to force her to love him. He literally tries killing Scott.
And then you have the people out there who judges someone by their looks. There are guys out there who have that "player" vibe to them, but you don't really know what their backstory is. Personally, Scott seems like a really good boyfriend, trying not to lose his love, and going back to her.
IN SHORT, Don't judge someone by their looks, and don't assume that someone acts a certain way based on their looks.
