@Terry Caldwell everybody’s gotta learn somebody and the fact that he can understand it retain it and then apply it to make him smart about its called comprehension
It’s so cool seeing your sweetie smiling when you take her on a date night , fluffed hair and smiles for you We like what you do Bill 🇺🇸 Hope you get you a new pellet stove
I tell you what watching Bob run that dyno on Billy’s new engine and seeing the smile on his face was just Awesome. He’s definitely a great machinist that takes pride in his work.
I loved the video! When we lived in Ohio it was a big tradition to go to Amish country. My husband knew I would come home with quite a haul. At the time I still quilted so I would hit quite a few stores. I have lived in California for almost 10 years and now I live in Georgia. It was so wonderful to see the cheese shop. Back to Bob, that man is such a craftsman. He amazes me. That man is worth his weight in gold! Now I have to check out Yellowstone. Love that show.
Hey Bill, any content you churn out is GRADE AAA! Whether it’s nuts n bolts in the garage, visiting Uncle Bob, helping Uncle Bucko or retrieving parts from Mark or Terry at Jegs… it’s all good. Especially enjoyed your trip to Berlin, showed the wife the cheese shop and she says “WE GOT TO GO!” Your content is RIVETING, and I crack up at chipmunk Vicki. Keep it coming Old Man, don’t change a thing. Scotty from Lancaster.
We have a little cabin in amish country here in michigan. We've gotten to know our amish neighbors pretty well. They have turned us on to alot of local amish shops. They have no store fronts and are generally run out of the barn at their homes. The families all work together to stock the "stores" with everything from home grown popcorn, handmade candies, clothing, jerkies, cheese, and a million other things depending on the farm your at.
I think there is more to the story of those 400's than anyone knows. I've seen before where manufacturers have donated engines to schools for training and they have come back in less than desirable condition. It brought great joy to my heart to see your dad on a piece of equipment again. It would seem our prayers have been answered.
Used to have a JD Model 40 2-popper--no fun plowing snow backwards with a plow on the 3 link. Just oicked up a $200 Chev 400 SB, the seller helped me load and I didn't notice neither of us put in the cast crank until I got home. His response was, "you leave the driveway, the sale is final" but I ran the serial number on the cast iron intake on this Suburban engine--turned out its a Corvette unit worth $200 retail after its soaked in molasses dip to clean up. So it's a good excuse to make a 7 litre small block--all things occur for a reason.
I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in here for what it's worth.. I have had one of those fireplace inserts. Probably for the last 12 years it holds 40 pounds of pellets in the hopper. I've got it set up on a thermostat so it shuts down and starts up by itself. This year is the 1st year that they have really went up in price for the most part they have been around $4.50 a bag which they will last about A-day and a 1/2 on 40 pounds. But if you want you could keep your house 80゚ no problem with that thing and so easy to refill no splitting no cutting wood. You can pick the pellets up at menards even. But you have to watch where you buy them from some are better than others and they have a high ash content and turn to creosol in your burn pot..
Thanks for the video I'm glad that the engines are coming together. Billy's engine is a beast so far. 8200 rpm sounds wonderful to my ears. You guys are my outlet to the mundane. What would life be like without cookie's or small block Chevys. Keep the vids coming.
My wife goes crazy for Christmas too... we have trees in several rooms and on the screened in porch. It used to really aggravate me, but it makes her so happy I've grown to enjoy it and look forward to it every year.
Just wanted to stop by and drop a comment because you were on my mind... Thanks for all your hardwork, the long days , short nights, and constant comic relief. Just know you inspire more people than you could even imagine. The knowledge you have shared is worth its weight in gold. Thanks again OMG
Those are some very nice shirts. Your place is my Christmas store. I’ll be checking it out tomorrow. Great content. Those buckeye stoves are beautiful. Our oil budget here in NY is now 400$ a month. Politicians are killing us out here on Long Island. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
That is the coolest John Deere Thumper Tractor I've seen in awhile, so awesome racing/farm family!!! ps/ thanks for showing Amish country because it's a real treat for the fans and really has the holiday cheer feel to it.
Yes I love the country life style they I live in myself n I'm in Louisa Va.use to help my dad do all the planting for his 2 garden we had n we grew some nice food from those grounds at my GMA fam house which has been in fam for over 100yrs until my GMA passed away n her sis n other fsm just went crazy over the house n now the fam DNT even have it anymore bcuz they was to money hungry n as long as that house has been in the fam n all they think bout is the money smfh. House went to shiiiii as soon as my GMA passed away n that tells u there who was keepn it up
40 year old engines sitting for years in mostly dry Arizona, on some wherehouse shelf that was probably 160 degrees or higher for decades through who knows how many summers, no assembly Lube that is oil based, would make it through without drying up. I bought 1 (the same 80's Era 400, almost 2 decades ago here in AZ, and it was just like the 1 going into your Dad's 55. Disassembled it, got it hot tanked, and crank minimal polished, then reassembled w/Molly assembly Lube, and it is still running almost 200k miles later in a friend's van type motorhome, with stock iron heads on it. So, yours should be fine too. Still un-run, brand new, but 40 yrs. Old, high but reasonable expectations. Neither of us could have reasonable expectations of not finding some rust or dry sink oil issues with 40 yr. old new small blocks I would not expect. Still, great finds all the same for an old GM small block lover like yourself. I hope they meet dyno expectations also 1 by 1.
Good stuff as always Bill! Wife and I celebrated 23 years today. We to got a chance to just get out and do some shopping and dinner. Was a very nice time . And I enjoyed seeing her happy. Shopping isn’t my thing either….. well if its speed parts or guns…. Count me in. Lol. Have a good night and good week!
Yes I agree that the diesel shortage is BS, but unfortunately it's happening I have some friends that are truckers in Tennessee and they have been seeing the shortage already. How you and the family have a wonderful Christmas and thanksgiving
I commented before watched video but didn’t know it’s that time year again I looked forward to all you and your kids videos guess it’s just where your good people. Have stuff I’ve ordered from all the channels big fan keep up hard work. Glad see miss Vicky smiling and getting new heater to been watching along form begging of all channels
Just wanted to thank you for putting a little footage of harvest in this video . I have my parents whom are in mid 80's watching all 3 channels , they are old gearheads lol.. But when the footage of your dad on the old JD 's and the Gleaner came on my dad's eyes lit up , it must have brought back some old memories because he told me a couple stories of him and his siblings and my Grandparents at harvest time ... I don't know that I would have ever heard those stories if it hadn't been for this video. Thanks again Bill ! I don't think you have any idea how many people you bring great joy with this video's Oh yeah my dad agrees with your dad .... he says if it's green and yellow it don't need but 2 cylinder to get the job done . 😎
The old Mail Pouch barn bringing back memories one of my trips back there shortly after I moved to California. There was a old Mail Pouch barn off of Rt. 33 we were heading back to Belpre from of Old Man’s Caves and I pulled over to snap a picture of it with the 35 mm camera I borrowed from my old racing buddy Gib. The picture is hanging in our living room till this day with all of the other pictures I had taken at the caves.
That was perfect contact and also getting to see a different side of the family is really cool. I Think it’s amazing when you show the most beautiful flag in the world the American flag flying . God bless you and your family
Vicky was happy as a peacock. Bill I really enjoyed watching your videos in the morning along with my coffee. You know laughing is a great way to start the day. Although there has been a few times I had to clean the keyboard. 😂
This is truly a great video ! So good that you include family - Vickie (sorry if misspelled) adds the cherry on top so to speak with her always smiling and laughing !!! You folks do a great job all the way around from the background music and scenery to back in the shop and drag racing . Thanks a mint !!!
It's All Good to get out of the office and have a Great Day experience You have to do it Have a Great Yellowstone Evening God Bless Mrs.Vicky and Bill and of course the Pups (Blue Healers)
Watching you and Mrs. Vickie over the years has been so amazing. Always smiles and good times for sure. I can't wait to see Billy's S10 with some boost its gonna be fun!
I've had pellet/corn burning stove for roughly 16 years now. Only heat source for my place. Best decision I ever made. Replaced the starter thermo couple twice now and agitation bar once. If you experience power loss it will run with very small genie. You will like it.
I have a 20 year old pellet stove , ran it this morning was 29° , have replaced the same items on it , my only heat also , have ran it on a small 2 stroke gen from harbor freight several times , cant beat em for heat , the pellets have gone up from $4 to $6 for 40lb bag but still cheap
I'm west of you about 20 miles from the Mississippi River..south of Moline Illinois home of John Deere and our weather last Thursday was 75° and was a high Friday of 34°... been snowing here the last few days and melting during the day
I live in Michigan and all we use to heat our house is a pellet stove. On the lowest setting it keeps my 1600 square foot house about 80° when it's 20° outside
Her smile is contagious. I've been in that cheese shop in Berlin. I cant believe how crowded that place gets. We waited in line for over an hour for cheese
I'm not sure if I even heard it at all but for some reason I thought you said you were doing a 327 for the 55. It was good to see your pops out there disc in that field so soon after surgery my mom had the same surgery about a year and a month ago she said it really takes it out of you
Prayers for ur mom n da fam n hope she is much better now. I list both my mom n father my mom it's been 7yrs n father it's been 3 yrs n it still hurts me to this day just thinking bout them n all the have done to raise my sister's n I the right way. Much love to ur mom bro n keep ur head up n always stay close to ur mom n dad bcuz u never know when that time is comm
Bill, really enjoy watching your videos. My wife likes to watch them too. We talk about taking fun little trips the same way you and squirrelly locks do 🤗
Seen the dyno run on Billy's new 372 and Uncle Bob and him have built one heck of a mean sounding and running small block... putting out over 600 hp .. can't wait to see it run with the twins added to it
It’s so nice to see Vicki so happy and beaming from ear to ear! Amish country footage makes outstanding content Bill and only thing that could make it better is if there were more of it! It brings back good memories of grandpas farm in LaRue and growing up with the Amish. I sure do miss that area!! I’ll sneak off to old man’s garage.shop in a bit and get the new t-shirt and sweatshirt. I sure do like the new design! Take care and be safe
Those wood carvings are legitimately amazingly detailed. That blew my mind and all i could say was "Wow!" as i paused and looked at the detail in each of the scenes they portrayed. Amazing craftsmanship there. Glad to see you and Vicki out having a good time before the weather turns. Its been cold here in Iowa too, other than the random 70 degree day we had last week... 🤣
Y'all didn't have to send my shirts and my wife's Blue Src Hoodie without the sign. I understood that the signs were not ready and it was Christmas gifts except for my t-shirt anyways. But I very much appreciate it. Yellowstone was damn good tonight. Me and the wife enjoyed it after our deer tenderloin and baked potato dinner. The wife said she wants to go Amish country now. Maybe on our road trip next year. Thanks again yall. Just next time if you see my last name on an order for NW Florida don't rush my order if something hasn't arrived yet. I understand shipping is expensive and I am not an impatient person. I would like an option on the website to add some of Mrs. Vicki's cookies though.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The "Gasoline & Freedom" shirt is a nice design. I was born and raised in Ohio but now live in FL so seeing the Christmas decorations and snow falling made miss the season! I really enjoyed the video.
My name is Tammy Carlton. My husband, Jesse and I watch your videos all the time along with the SRC and Gen 2 Garage channels to. We just received our mugs from you and we absolutely love them.
Bill I've got to say, Miss Vickie is a very sweet lady Thought I had the only one Left but looks like you got lucky to best wishes to you and family buddy
I love all of your videos, Bill. Especially ones where you and Miss Vicki get away and enjoy yourselves. The chemistry between you two shows through. It was a pleasure meeting you both at Clay City back in the spring. Glad to see your dad doing so well. Much love and many prayers from Hazard, KY! God bless you all
Newbie here.. Great channel I have a 70ss 388 nova and 3 ``89`` chevy step sides with 383 stokers in them. Both my boys 17 and 25 are motor heads..Thank you Lord Jesus...
Hey Bill! Listen anytime you and Miss Vicky get to go and enjoy yourself together always is really great to watch. Love good old Ohio my home state no all about the area’s you where in yesterday. Just enjoyed seeing all the great places. Been a good many years since we have been back. Your channel always keeps the Ohio light burning strong. Hey guys stay safe. Enjoy your Thanksgiving🦃
Yes he is one lucky old man to have a loving caring beautiful lady like her. Always has the most wonderful n biggest smile on her face. Wat a wife to have to care n love on u must be nice
That looked like a wonderful little trip Bill, even if it rained. Those stores were awesome and Miss Vicki had such a big smile on her face like a kid in a candy store. That`s where her face really lit up...chocolates..lol. What a relaxing trip. I need one of those. I saw the live shoot on Billy`s new engine, what a screamer!! 8200RPM! Over 600hp on race gas, I forget the torque, but should launch great with boost. Watch the hp soar boosted. This should take the S10 up a big notch. Hope all goes well with both 400`s, would love to see a dyno vid on Miss Vicki`s 400 as well as Pop`s. Thanks for taking us along for the ride, wish I could do that in person and visit those shops. That was cool. Thanks again for the wonderful distraction from rough times.❤ Stay safe all, God Bless
I lived in a old farm house and yup the fireplace was pretty much worthless all the heat went out the roof! Now we have a propane one but the pellets are great!
Nice way to spend time with miss Vicky my wife knows to get that Christmas stuff done before I get home off the road because I just can’t do Christmas things I’m the grinch 😂
Hard to beat the sound of an old 2-cylinder tractor. My dad has a 1936 B that was my grandpa's and my great grandpas before that. Hopefully, it will be mine someday. My family got it in 1937 with a planter, plow, and cultivator for $800 and 2 sows.
Had a free standing wood stove in our house in the low country, it had a good strong blower on it. Bank a good fire and that old stove would heat the whole house and could actually be too hot in the den. The pellet stove will be a purchase that you will never regret. Miss that house. Always something when you build a new engine. So good to see you two enjoying your semi- retirement. Great content Bill and Vickie!! God bless you and your family and friends.
I absolutely love you channel BillI. My wife Vicki is from upstate New York. She grew up in snow. I on the other hand grew up in sunny San Fernando Valley California. I've got my wife watching the channel cause of Vicki, and yes we are huge Yellowstone fans as well. Thank you very much from the bottom of my bow tie heart. Keep doing what you do. Thank you very much. Sean McEntire from Las Vegas Nevada. Take care
It was a pleasure meeting you and Vicki both! Thanks for stopping by the shop!
I see Petey Small Block is getting some Nitrous education from The Old Man's Garage like the rest of us .
I seen that to
I missed something.....
@Terry Caldwell OK So nobody is saying he reinvented the wheel .
I don't really care where he gets his information we all get are information from somewhere.
So Bill got his information from x .
Then past it on using his UTube channel to do so .
I don't see anything wrong with that . . Or should I?
@Terry Caldwell and your a prick. We all know that tho
She’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever known. Love her to death
Wow what beautiful equment your dad has, I absolutely love the old farm equment
Without a doubt this is my favorite RUclips channel of all times!
I think there is more to the story of those 400's than anyone knows. I've seen before where manufacturers have donated engines to schools for training and they have come back in less than desirable condition.
It brought great joy to my heart to see your dad on a piece of equipment again. It would seem our prayers have been answered.
when I was in school VW donated 2 new carS for us to work on. they had no vin. we ran the dog shit out of them. then repaired them
Or a load that got swipped 😂
Used to have a JD Model 40 2-popper--no fun plowing snow backwards with a plow on the 3 link. Just oicked up a $200 Chev 400 SB, the seller helped me load and I didn't notice neither of us put in the cast crank until I got home. His response was, "you leave the driveway, the sale is final" but I ran the serial number on the cast iron intake on this Suburban engine--turned out its a Corvette unit worth $200 retail after its soaked in molasses dip to clean up. So it's a good excuse to make a 7 litre small block--all things occur for a reason.
I personally LOVED the content. Its quite seasonal. We are in the process of putting our tree up as I type this
You will love the stove, I have one it uses 1 bag every 24 hrs and will run u out of the house. Great show.
The love you have for her, and she for you, is obvious and makes me smile.
Wife and I spent the day in and around Sugar Creek Friday. It was busy even on a week day
I just love Vickie! She’s just so pure and sweet! ❤🥰 Hope you guys had a good night snuggled up watching Yellowstone.
Vickie is so wholesome. I can’t help but smile when she talks. Great video!
So nice to see antique farm equipment still working. That's getting your money worth
TIZ THE SEASON .HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL WHO READ THIS .AND BLESSINGS 🙌 FOR ALL .THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE.
That's the first time I've ever seen you not chipmunk Ms. Vicki. Glad to see you all happy and in the Christmas spirit!
Boy ya gotta love her enthusiasm once dated a woman who used to be that expressive she's the one that got away.
I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in here for what it's worth.. I have had one of those fireplace inserts. Probably for the last 12 years it holds 40 pounds of pellets in the hopper. The State of Ohio should cut you a check for all the tourism plugs you do.
Seemed like a real nice trip.
Loved that hardware store.
Good to see you and Vickie getting some rest.Billys engine sounded great on SRC channel
.
That’s a pretty good looking firebird/T.A. Sitting outside your shop! What’s up with that little cream puff?
My wife goes crazy for Christmas too... we have trees in several rooms and on the screened in porch. It used to really aggravate me, but it makes her so happy I've grown to enjoy it and look forward to it every year.
After a weekend of helping my oldest daughter and hanging out with my wife I really needed this video. Thanks
Just wanted to stop by and drop a comment because you were on my mind... Thanks for all your hardwork, the long days , short nights, and constant comic relief. Just know you inspire more people than you could even imagine.
The knowledge you have shared is worth its weight in gold. Thanks again OMG
Yellowstone episodes and then your video.... "TV" at its finest thanks Bill!
Vicky is adorable and totally reminds me of my wife. I’m glad you guys had a good day
Those are some very nice shirts. Your place is my Christmas store. I’ll be checking it out tomorrow. Great content. Those buckeye stoves are beautiful. Our oil budget here in NY is now 400$ a month. Politicians are killing us out here on Long Island. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Any content you put out we’ll watch!!! Plus something different is always good. 🤙🏼
Glad to see your dad out working the field while the weather was still nice!
That is the coolest John Deere Thumper Tractor I've seen in awhile, so awesome racing/farm family!!! ps/ thanks for showing Amish country because it's a real treat for the fans and really has the holiday cheer feel to it.

But when the footage of your dad on the old JD 's and the Gleaner came on my dad's eyes lit up , it must have brought back some old memories because he told me a couple stories of him and his siblings and my Grandparents

O man bill!!! A jd 40 crawler and a jd D out working this is a great video!!
I ordered one of the shirts and 2 stickers. Already got a spot cleaned on the ol wagon for one of em!
This is quickly becoming my favorite channel. You guys do such a good job. Best entertainment and Vickie is so cute she could have her own tv show. 😁
Thank you
Bill- Thanks buddy....
Your videos are beautiful!
I love how yall keep using these old machines.
We will gladly go anywhere you 2, so much fun to watch!!
Glad to see you two getting out and enjoying each other’s time together

He changed his mind and decided to give that 327 to Jeremy for his 30’s Chevy Coupe.
Bill, really enjoy watching your videos. My wife likes to watch them too. We talk about taking fun little trips the same way you and squirrelly locks do 🤗
The little weekend outing make for great content!
Seen the dyno run on Billy's new 372 and Uncle Bob and him have built one heck of a mean sounding and running small block... putting out over 600 hp .. can't wait to see it run with the twins added to it
That,s a beautiful part of the country.Cheers from Australia .Always wait for my daily fix lol
YES Absolutely, Mrs. Vicki deserves that Motorhome!
My name is Tammy Carlton. My husband, Jesse and I watch your videos all the time along with the SRC and Gen 2 Garage channels to. We just received our mugs from you and we absolutely love them.

Yes he is one lucky old man to have a loving caring beautiful lady like her. Always has the most wonderful n biggest smile on her face. Wat a wife to have to care n love on u must be nice
OMG, thank you Miss Vickie for reminding me about Yellowstone.🙏
Your dad has some cool stuff!! That shopping trip looked like fun,..and that moter home is crazy ! but good for trips to the track!
Thanks again for the wonderful distraction from rough times.❤
Stay safe all, God Bless
Umm he is gonna Dyno both 400 small blocks homie did u not hear him when he was talkn bout it
I feel the pain of fuel oil, 4.78 a gallon last week here in Michigan. Love the content keep it up !
I got a diesel pusher for you Bill. I'm an old truck driver, you will like this one.
Buckeye stoves seems like a very cool store and very cool to see such a young man as the owner 🤟
Can't believe you guys don't tie engines down. $500 fine here in Australia. Love seeing the Old Boy on his John Deere.
I lived in a old farm house and yup the fireplace was pretty much worthless all the heat went out the roof! Now we have a propane one but the pellets are great!
Nice to see the both of you enjoying a day together.
Great video. It's always great to see so many familiar places in your videos. All the laughs and smiles are so nice to see .....
Nice way to spend time with miss Vicky my wife knows to get that Christmas stuff done before I get home off the road because I just can’t do Christmas things I’m the grinch 😂
Hell yeah yellow stone is back. Can't wait to see all the motors done also
Hard to beat the sound of an old 2-cylinder tractor. My dad has a 1936 B that was my grandpa's and my great grandpas before that. Hopefully, it will be mine someday. My family got it in 1937 with a planter, plow, and cultivator for $800 and 2 sows.
"Caffeine & estrogen " ☠️🤣 Bill you keep me & my husband laughing . Vicky & you are the best!
Been waiting eagerly for a video. Cheers Oldman
Take care
These videos have gotten me through some tough times, one of very few I've caught as it came out, ty, much appreciated
It's very nice to see both of you taking time for yourself.
Happy Holidays!
