Thanks for watching, the views will be terrible as YT continues to not actually promote my content to my viewers so as always my eternal thanks to the patrons who keep everything ticking over nicely. Couldn't do it without them : )
recently listenning to the LN for this... and I now know why that one part had me feeling I had missed something. In the LN it is Cinderella that Myne is trying to use for the kids story. The complaint from EVERY person is that nothing was depicted right in it. Nobles are not that way Fairy God mothers make no sense Magic does not work that way No one found Cinderella herself to be believable They complained about there being evil step parents and sisters Literally everything it is known for. They had her shifting it to reflect something that could happen in the world Myne lives in. It did a good job of indirectly explaining what is wrong with the creation process of like Holywood and such. Great ideas as source but so many people change so many things that its not at all the same story by the end. 3 lil pigs makes more sense to me... thank you anime.
Her blessing the field felt more impressive in the LN. Visually seeing it I think your still wrong and instead of 10 its more like 20 I think because the grass is ankle tall vs an inch or so. But in the LN I felt it was more like 100 times different because my imagination put the scale as larger. But still her casual power I think makes a better impression than the grand standing you expect out of nobles.
The LN version was worse in some ways... Main was able to communicate partially to her mom. As in her mom talked to her but it was only a line or 2 and the communication was 1 way. On the flip side poor Fern had to be bored for hours while Main zoned out in a library reading the books in this dream world. It was pretty good being able to see how well the anime adaptation has been by seeing that none of the changes really hit me as running a scene or anything. The LN is just good in its way and the anime in its own way.
4:37, Worth mentioning, their world does have pigs and wolves, however, the priests live such sheltered lives they've never seen one. 22:30, No, this was anime specific to show this scene early.
So fun fact about the scene at 20:57 on the crunchyroll clip someone did the math and she roughly grew about 104x more than the noble and this was just her using the excess leakin out of her "box" edit. So apparently it was 180x times more than the noble
Perhaps worth nothing is that win 103 happens as a direct result of the first half of the season, where Myne _wanted_ to jump to a decision about Lutz's family situation but Ferdinand forced her to witness that the ideal solution she wanted to reach could only happen after also hearing his parents' perspective. This is her taking that lesson and putting it into practice herself.
IIRC the intro of the anime being the ending of S2 is an anime thing only. In the books it starts by her dying and waking up in the body of Myne. But anyway the scene at the end of this season is really a tear jerker. Got me both in the anime and in the book, and even just watching the summarized version with you here makes me feel sad. Look forward to watching your season 3 video (if it's voted in ? I don't even now ^^')
For your question on win 189, both manga and Light novel does not start with Ferdinand (the high priest) looking into Mynes but starts with a short look into Mynes previous life followed by her reincarnation. But if I remember correctly the original web novel, from which this series came from, does indeed start like the anime does, with high priest looking into her past only for us to see her reincarnation and us catching up to that event.
@@nuanil Interesting, because I remember it starting with Ferdinand. But it is possible that It wasn't actually the web novel but something of a transcript of the anime i guess. I tried to look for it and checked the web novel on different sites and it does actually start like manga/light novel. I wonder what I read all that time ago then :D
Oh man. This is the type of stuff that makes you skip sleep after a 48 hour shift))) Thanks for your hard work man. You've felt it as well - enduring the hardships is the best way to appreciate the victories to come.
The hilarious part of Myne meeting his goals for her music practice, is that his and Rosina’s standards are so high that she is way better than anyone her age. It happens at her noble baptism, and at school.
As always a fantastic job! Thank you so much for all your hard work!!! I can't tell you just how much I get excited when I see a new episode of Everything Great About pops up in my feed Cal!! Again this was so good... thank you!
18:37 - My favorite part about this moment is a minor spoiler ... ... ... ... but this moment, which takes place about 2/3 through the church arc, is setting up a plot point for the second half of the FINAL story arc, and it's never mentioned once between the two scenes. The author really did a good job of telling a thoroughly connected story.
3:15 This scene is even better when you realize Myne is only being that considerate because she learned to act that way ever since Lutz's argument with his parents through the guidance of Ferdinand!
26:29 only after reading the light novels do I understand how rare that "very good" is. It isn't shown as much in the anime, but in the light novels ferdinand is actually EXTREMELY hard on myne.
4:40 This is not an issue about their world vs Earth. Pigs and wolves do exist in the bookworm world too (we've seen pigs on pig slaughter day in the first season and later in this season at least one highbeast modeled after a wolf). But the gray robes are either born on the temple grounds or were brought there as very, very young children, and thus unless they've accompanied their lord or lady on spring prayers or harvest festivals, the gray robes would spend their entire lives within the walls of the temple. Wilma is one of those gray robes, who never had a single step outside the walls of the temple, and never talked with any commoner from the city or beyond about what animals existed out there either, so pigs and wolves are a foreign concept to her, despite both of those animals living so close to where she lives, you could get there in less than a half day's march on foot. 9:40 The irony is that the studio filled the room with too many books. Despite it being called "bookroom", in the novel, they pointed out how the room was mostly filled with scrolls and wooden boards, with only very few actual books. And also the culprint only scattered the scrolls and boards around, but left the actual books untouched. It isn't explicitly told why, but in all due likelyhood it's because of how extremely valuable and pricey books are.... and how they all belong to someone of higher noble rank than him and his family, which means he'd be lucky to escape with only crippling debt, he wouldn't be able to pay off in his lifetime, if he were to damage one of those books and be found out. The scrolls and boards on the other hand are for the most part just archived budget reports and the likes, so nothing anyone would make much of a fuss about being dirtied or damaged... well, nobody except Myne of course. Shikikoza's name is kind of a pun, since it's the sylables of "small-fry knight" - zako kishi - reversed. :) And he really screwed up big time, when he bullied Myne. He was ordered to not let a single hair on her be harmed, by two nobles considerably higher in rank than him. At that point it doesn't matter if Myne is a noble, a commoner or a pet for that matter. Disobeying the order has exceptionallly dire consequences and might even have his family punished along with him. Punishment by family association is very common among the nobility of this country. 22:33 Pulling that scene forward was only done by the anime, I'm pretty sure. The novel most certainly didn't do it, that I know for 100% certain, since I own the books (well, the ones released in English so far anyway), but not the manga.
The manga followed the light novel with the whole prologue being the first page of the manga the End of Volume Bonus you see after each volume (starting at Part 2 Volume 4) is being drawn by one of the Manga artists instead of the in novel art artist
For Win 109, of course it's a different world, but we know that there are pigs from season one because Main goes to the annual slaughter. I think it's more like the church community lives in its own world and doesn't necessarily know things like that. If that's what you meant by another world, I don't want to have said anything :)
That's exactly it. From Karstedt's highbeast (the Knight's Commander with the moustache), which is shaped like a wolf, we have a pretty good indication that wolves also exist in their world too. But Wilma never left the temple grounds even once in her entire life, so she wouldn't have seen any. And even if she heard the words before, she wouldn't have any concept of what they are, beyond what can be gleaned from context.
22:30 - I presume I'm not the first, but no, the books actually start with the description of what types of stories Urano likes to read. I personally don't think it hurts the anime to use it as a teaser to the future of the story (since it isn't even a fraction of the way through the whole story being told) but I've seen that many fans of the books aren't happy about it, among other parts of this scene.
20:14 if by "fairly relaxed guy" you mean "a guy so stressed out and traumatized that he hides his emotion and only shows it when he wants it to be known" then you are correct.
4:48 it is not that that world does not have pigs as we sen them when Myne's family go to a nearby town to get some fresh meat (which caused myne to faint) in this case it is just cause Wilma has never gone outside the church so she had never seen any livestock/farm animals 9:50 kinda a funny fact: the ones who messed up the bookroom did it real gently to not cause any damage to the books as the books are property of nobility & the church 11:34 so that means you are like Myne but for History instead of books 22:38 the Anime should not have shown this scene in episode 1 season 1 as that was not how the light novel did it nor the manga version it makes it seem like the high priest knows everything Myne did after getting her past life memories but that he did not and he only saw Myne's "dream world" which was also a bit altered in the anime He saw a big library from the outside before they entered it, and had to deal with Myne reading and later saw a picture book for kids and adults (art book) and also saw how people clothing rules are quite different from his own world, for example thinking an adult women is extremely poor due to not having enough cloth to cover her legs but still being allowed inside the library Then he saw Myne's school's classrooms jumping between school years and classes, Then the school library, making him start getting tired mentally of Myne's book antics Then someplace outside letting him see cars and a plane and the city being massive in the distance And then Myne's house which he thinks is a noble's house due to the detailed lacework hanging in front of the windows then saw Myne's mother homemade arts and crafts in the hallway before Myne showed of the kitchen and the non-magical magic looking tools it has and the bathroom which Myne decided to take a bath and after that Myne asked if rubber was a thing showing a hairband after that Myne ate food her mother made which the High Priest thought tasted incredibly good after that Myne apologizes to her mother for dying and only after that did the High Priest cuts off the connection due to being to synchronized with Myne's emotions so while I am not all that happy how the Anime did this scene, it did do good enough to be passable I am looking forward to your EGA season 3 seeing as that one marks the end of part 2 of the light novel series (which is split into 5 parts and has just been completed in Japaneses and will be fully translated in English before the end of this year)

Lets Go!
Okay, some notes from the light novels. Myne actually eat the meal from her old mother and is much calmer when leaving
4:48
it is not that that world does not have pigs as we sen them when Myne's family go to a nearby town to get some fresh meat (which caused myne to faint)
in this case it is just cause Wilma has never gone outside the church so she had never seen any livestock/farm animals
9:50
kinda a funny fact: the ones who messed up the bookroom did it real gently to not cause any damage to the books as the books are property of nobility & the church
11:34
so that means you are like Myne but for History instead of books
22:38
the Anime should not have shown this scene in episode 1 season 1 as that was not how the light novel did it nor the manga version
it makes it seem like the high priest knows everything Myne did after getting her past life memories
but that he did not and he only saw Myne's "dream world" which was also a bit altered in the anime
He saw a big library from the outside before they entered it, and had to deal with Myne reading and later saw a picture book for kids and adults (art book) and also saw how people clothing rules are quite different from his own world, for example thinking an adult women is extremely poor due to not having enough cloth to cover her legs but still being allowed inside the library
Then he saw Myne's school's classrooms jumping between school years and classes,
Then the school library, making him start getting tired mentally of Myne's book antics
Then someplace outside letting him see cars and a plane and the city being massive in the distance
And then Myne's house which he thinks is a noble's house due to the detailed lacework hanging in front of the windows
then saw Myne's mother homemade arts and crafts in the hallway
before Myne showed of the kitchen and the non-magical magic looking tools it has and the bathroom
which Myne decided to take a bath and after that Myne asked if rubber was a thing showing a hairband
after that Myne ate food her mother made which the High Priest thought tasted incredibly good
after that Myne apologizes to her mother for dying and only after that did the High Priest cuts off the connection due to being to synchronized with Myne's emotions
so while I am not all that happy how the Anime did this scene, it did do good enough to be passable
I am looking forward to your EGA season 3 seeing as that one marks the end of part 2 of the light novel series (which is split into 5 parts and has just been completed in Japaneses and will be fully translated in English before the end of this year)

God i can't wait for next season to come out, still can't belive they got Studio Wit to do it, that should at least get rid of your animation problem the anime has X D.
and May 15 is the next novel in english so hype.
