Michel Blavet (christened March 13, 1700 in Besançon - † October 28, 1768 in Paris) was a French flute virtuoso and composer.
It is a pity that Blavet's famous quartets for flute, violin, viola da gamba and continuo have not survived.
The sonata performed here is a very pleasant light entertainment.
