@ I’m Anthony TV here in NH we don’t see Gordon food service that much and we don’t see Reinhart food service that much. We only see US. Foods, Sysco, and Performance Foodservice.
Wats up bro, your video gave me a lil motivation. I hardly ever see older or out of shape dudes doing food service. But by checking out some of your videos I caught a few older dudes getting shit done. I’m in decent shape. I Lift weights eat right and do my cardio but unloading a truck for 10-12 hrs is beast. I’m with jb now and Gordon is in the same area. Completing app today. Much ❤bro stay positive
Thank you Anthony for your posts. As a 20 year OTR veteran transitioning to foodservice your videos have helped me tremendously. Today is my third day out on the field and will be doing night deliveries. God Bless to all the drivers out there. Be safe!
It’s awesome to see what your getting into before you do something. It’s also great to have cool drivers to talk to, it make you enjoy your job more. Respect to you for making these videos, great motivation.
We have assigned routes. These two guy’s were new at the time so they didn’t have their own route. One of them is still with us and he actually has his own route now.
@@imanthonytv your schedule is solid tho did you have to work a certain amount of years to get the position you're in ? I wouldn't mind working just 4 days a week
I saw beer guys waiting to get checked in at a stop and the place was so busy it looked like they were gonna be waiting a while. I know the feeling after 23 years of beer . Makes me think I'm doing the right thing going to PFG
I applied for a cdl A delivery driver with GFS today. The yard is about 40 minutes away. I been with Coke for 6 and a half years. Like y’all said about Pepsi, the workload to the pay absolutely sucks with the beverage industry. Pepsi drivers do get paid a lot better than coke but they also have a lot more stops than we do. I’m hoping GFS will be a good move 🤞
I have been watching your videos non stop and i have to say this video really showed what type of spirit you really have. You should consider training . You are a legit team player. They dont have GFS In CO but me and my brother will be applying at sysco! Thanks for what you do my brother! Stay in that spirit!
I’ve heard about how Gordon’s floor loads their trucks looks pretty organized though compared to other food places but the newbies seem like some pretty good guys! Hope it works out for them! Nice video too!
Yeah, it’s very organized bro. It’s not as bad as it may look to someone not necessarily in the food service game. I’m not digging to look for cases like I see some of the other FS companies having to do with palletized loads. It’s cool to me..

come up to the northeast and ill personally give you an interview about how working fro PFGCD is. Im a driver and me and my partner out in philly or jersey everyday
Just had a interview today for a van driver. What's your thoughts on that position? If I like it hopefully I can obtain my CDL and move up to the big trucks. Also, why don't GFS pallatize each order all together instead of just being scattered? Seems like alot of extra work to have to sort through all the boxes.
I have no clue about the van driver position. There wouldn’t be enough room on the trailers to palletize each stop order unless you only had a few stops. That’s why there’s usually mix pallets with multiple stop cases on one pallet. It can be frustrating at times if the cases you’re looking for are at the bottom of a pallet when it should be on top. It happens.
That’s what I’m doing now beverage delivery for Dr Pepper snapple which is basically 7 up. You have to check in get everything scanned in by the customer then Merchandise ( the part that I don’t like the merchandising.) I’d rather drop and go.
Go get yo hand truck and help them fellas 😂😂😂 this job sucks I’ve done it and got the t-shirt for it the over work you and don’t give a damn about your personal time they will have you out there all day the warehouse stack the products wrong and you have to find things that should be easy to get but it might be way at the front of the truck or the pallets in the truck might be out of order overall I would never go back to the food industry
Beverage was definitely harder in my opinion. I worked for a beer company prior to coming to GFS. We also dealt with majority glass bottles and not plastic bottles which made the loads much heavier when pushing the carts into C-stores. When you add that element along with having to merchandise the product it just wasn't worth it. Plus the pay was terrible especially compared to food service.
