12 lb Bass while filming a TV Show??? Story of Matt's Biggest Limit Ever!

- Catching a 51 pound limit for 5 bass is an experience of a lifetime. Doing it with a camera crew while filming for Trev Gowdy's Monster Fish was insane! To top it off, the day before they had a 25+ limit of smallmouth bass!

We were so blessed to catch even one giant bass on a swimbait but to catch a huge limit, and in only 3 hours was truly amazing! Trev Gowdy also go the biggest bass of his life that day. If you ever get the chance to fish big swimbaits , give it a try, you just never know what could happen!

What amazing timing! Not sure if this coincided with the start of you guiding Matt, but if it did, it reminds me of something Jerry McGinnis did for a friend of mine that guides in Quetico. There is nothing like laying the wood to them in front of an audience. Memories like that last a lifetime, even for people like us that watch the episode. Great stuff as usual. I love how Trev Made it seem like you guys have been sitting in front of a Chimenea Smoking 1 foot cuban cigars wearing flip-flops and getting back massages for years. Some life events are meant to be while we presume we just fell into them at the time.
Curt Howdy is in the IGFA Hall of Fame. He started the first televised fishing and outdoor adventure show, The American Sportsman. Sadly I'm old enough to remember watching the show just about every Sunday starting back in the 1960's.
Lake Pardee is my backyard and a 25 pound bag of smallies is Very Impressive! Even for somebody who's fished there for many years!
Trevor Gowdy's show started around 2008 so you were in one of the earliest episodes.
I'm willing to bet that I've seen the Monster Fishing episode that you were in and probably thought 'Who the hell is this kid' Lmao
