When I installed the Electrical Connections version of this light it was far easier, and I never needed to get the top shelter off. The brackets weren’t used, the lights just push in with a grommet and you need enough space to plug in the connector.
Would you think this is more or less labor than your Trunk Relocation and Removal kit? I did that and a Rivco hitch last weekend and the wife really really likes it! You make a very good quality kit and it's worth the $$$ since the back seat is so cramped. This front end project will probably include the puddle lights, muth mirrors and your mirror stop.
I like the idea but can't make up my mind if I should add them. I hate to drill holes in new parts and the installation seems to be somewhat of an afterthought. Is it worth it? Just how clean is the installation?
The Honda lights are clean and professional looking. I will be installing some from Electrical Connection soon. They are much cheaper in cost, and hopefully work just as good.
@@Traxxion I bought entry lights from eBay, Chinese ones, but exactly same looking as yours. After one year they stopped working. One week between the first the right and left. So I assume it’s not an electrical issue that burnt them out. Now if I need to change it again, should I remove again the whole tank cover ? It’s time consuming….Or is there a shortcut ? If that helps other people, I guess the lifetime of mine were very short because of sometimes the keys left near the bike (actually in between the near and far position) makes the lights always on. Kind of a bugg. It needs to keep the key either very close to the bike like into the fairing pocket or very far from the bike. Not in between to avoid that… Any one had the same experience?
I want to install Clearwater Sevina lights on my Goldwing 2018 but do not wish to put them under the mirror as it spoils the looks of the bike. Can you suggest any other location or fabricate a bracket for the new position to mount such lights? Also using the high beam button to turn them on or off/ low beam. Please make a video on the same.
That type of work is very personal and customized, so it wouldn't be a mass production type of item. If you want those lights to come on and off with your high beam, that is also custom wiring (and not legal in any state in America).

And they cost a lot less, it's a much better deal.

WAY easier, the trunk relocation kit is a big job by any standard.
