Sick car
Were you guys driving in Scottsdale? The road looked really familiar.
Bruh I need to copy and paste this for later
This car brings back memories. I did the machine work , engine assembly and installation on this car at Altered Atmosphere Motorsports back in 2007 if I am correct. Owner was really cool guy. Owned a body shop and did the best body and paint work I have ever seen. I think the car laid down around 750 or so at like 17 psi back then. Four of us sitting in the hatch on a Dyno jet. I could be a little off on the numbers but close. I built about 1000 Z/G cars since then.
Please info on the color candy raspberry like the brand or number when I call hot hues they need more info for this color. Thank you 🙏 for any information.
Ah yes a 420z
Damon INC he got confused with what he smokes
i see what u did there
😂 that would totally be my license plate
Probably one of the nicest looking - if not THE nicest looking Z I've ever seen. That colour and bodykit is just amazing. Obviously a LOT of money put into this beast!.
go on insta then lol.....theres a lot crazier builds. the color is defs nice though
2:03 "get that Dorito spinning" 😂😂😂😂I'm done
lol "we cant tell you're a rotary." no shit its an FD. This dude is cringe as fuck lmfao.
Very clean and well executed. Every mod looks professionally done.
The color & the performance setup is definitely perfect on this 👀🔥
Looks like it came out of the factory that way. Very professional-looking work
The brab took my mind hostage at 1:40 glad you stopped to show us it x
A 4.2 L V6? That is one huge engine. Always wanted to see Japanese technology and American love for displacement in one engine.
Chevy makes a 4.3 v6 in a truck. Crazy torque from a 6.
Love it
Try an 8.0 v10 viper that’s a huge engine
I actually really like this 350z build, the glossy dash it too much for me but the rest of it is just sweet. I do love how the engine bay turned out as well.
The dash should be brown leather like the seats
Nice set up and that color is sweet. I was expecting a little run against the G 😁
That thang is beautiful!
One of the best Z’s I’ve ever seen 100%
4.2 twin turbo, that’s the deepest and rowdiest VQ i’ve ever heard. Ideal sound🤙🏻
Thats a nice paintjob
I’d expect more power with a stroker kit at that boost level…
I cant wait to build my car again.. It gives me hope... That z is saucy..
This thing is nuts 😍
What a unicorn, absolutely stunning😍
Cool Z bro!
I love how easy I can tell this is Arizona. Miss it.
thats a nice power band, torque comes on strong.
Wait did this man pull out a booklet of all the mods 😂😂, almost like a damn remote control car
That's a sick 350
I like the rear fin. Looks good. Looks like it belongs on it.
never seen a z that looked that good. cranberry/rasberry/burgundy are my favorite colors for candy/gloss wraps
Mine too as well! Do you know what color and wrap name it is?
That Z is tuff!!
Beautiful
Wow that is Epic
Nicely done that I could not even find the door handles🧐
The best mod z i ever seen as far looks color and style and performance 👌
Damn I love that paint
sick car
Bad ass Z love the color on it
Big money build!
That is the most bad-ass Z I have ever seen absolutely gorgeous!
Whoever built that car has easily dumped $100K or more into it.
This is the same engine route I want to go with a Brian Crower 4.2L stroker kit with Darton sleeves and a custom Single turbo setup my goal would be about 750+Whp on 93 Octane and at least 850+whp on E85 at reasonable boost pressures.
Crazy money or just buy a Porsche 911 turbo and call it a day with OEM reliability.
@@jackchueh1231LOL Porsche and reliability those two things don't go together🤣
Besides people spend their money on what they like, I'd have that Z or old Supra,GTR and even an old school Skyline GTR over any Porsche anyday of the week!
100k smfh
NightmareFD3S You definitely never owned a Porsche. Porsche has the most reliable cars in the market.
I agree with the cost of the car, I want to know what this dude bought it for. Had to have been 40-50k TOPS based on my experience buying modded cars.
Very nice 350Z man! the best one so far!
Back in the day I remember when the 300ZX is came out I was working at a Nissan dealership there in San Diego
I have a aps tt kit with hks fvcon from my g35 sitting in my garage collecting dust..
That must be a really conservative tune.. that should easily be capable of 1000hp depending on internals
That old Porsche was pretty nice too
Nice build and great looking externals too, only thing I dont like was the boot lid/rear spoiler blend, just a bit too flat. Needs a flick up on the lip imo.
I’m no fan of the z but damn this one is nice
Holy shit that’s fast
"GoatBoy"....say's DaaaahehehehAMMMMMMm
next z i build will definitely be the 4.2l stroker .
Could you build a 550 rwhp stillen supercharged 4.2L g37?
Yo man the music in this video is super fly . Where you get it. I need it.
I’d die for a 350 like this😰
I live right there on Scottsdale rd near the Porsche dealer...I hate Scottsdale rd!! lol
608whp from a 4.2 stroker? I have seen built stock displacement 3.5L motors make 600whp. 4.2L should be in the 800whp range.
5:12...That's at 14 psi on 91 octane. 715whp at 23 psi and I messed up saying dynojet. Believe it or not, dynopacks read just like mustang dyno's. At least in my personal experience, they have.
Not really no. Dynapacks read the highest since they measure power at the rear hubs...not the wheels. When you dyno a car with a Dynapack, the rear wheels are removed. There is more rolling resistance with the rear wheels and tires in place hence why a Dynojet will read lower than a Dynapack.
There are 3 types of chassis dyno's you'll run into in the USA. Dynojet, Dynapack, & Mustang. They all spit out slightly different HP/TQ numbers when you compare one brand to another (i.e. Dynojet vs Dynapack), but they are all 100% consistent if you stay on the same dyno every time. So if you are tracking your mods as you add them, go to the same shop every time.
1. Dynojet - most popular in the USA. Considered the "standard" here in the states since most shops utilize them. For our theoretical "car", the Dynojet will read 100 rwhp, & 100 ft/lbs of torque.
With this dyno you drive up to the rollers, they strap the car down, and do a full throttle pass in 3rd or 4th gear. The dyno will calculate the power based on how fast the car will spin the rollers. This is called an inertia based dyno.
For WOT power passes that you can compare to each other on the internet, Dynojet's are perfect. They're everywhere! But most do not have any sort of load simulating capability. Since 2005 more and more Dynojet's sold have their eddy current loading device. So you can ID them, Dynojets are typically red or black.
2. Mustang Dyno's - not as nearly as popular as the Dynojet's, but all performance shops that have Mustang dyno's DO have the capability to simulate load on the car to map ECU's. These are also great dyno's, are very accurate, simulate load very well, and are repeatable every time. They are also inertia based dyno's where you'll drive the car up on the rollers, strap the car down, and make a 3rd or 4th gear pass.
These dyno's will always read ~12% LOWER than a Dynojet, which is our standard here in the states (unless the shop has messed with the gearing settings in the computer). Because of this, lots of the internet folk don't like to use them. They come on the internet, share their results and everyone says "why didn't you make more power with mod XX". So our theoretical car will show 88rwhp on the Mustang dyno.
These dyno's will always be blue.
3. Dynapack - These are the red headed step children here in the states. Not as common as the Dynojet or Dynapack, but these are the standard in Japan. These are fundamentally COMPLETELY different that the inertia type dyno's.
With the Dynapack (my favorite), you remove the rear wheels, attach the hubs of the car to the "pods", and make your pass.
The load is simulated on the car via a hydraulic pump. Because these are effectively inertia-less, they will read HIGHER than the standard Dynojet numbers by 8-10%. That number will vary depending on how "fast" your dyno run lasts (sweep time), but as a rule of thumb, they'll read ~8-10% higher. So with this dyno our car will now read ~109rwhp on average.
The pods are always red, but these are easiest to ID. If they are taking off your wheels, it's a Dynapack!

Here is a list of what guys with built stroked VQ's are making. 608whp on pump is weaksauce for something like that. People are getting those numbers with stock displacement motors with the same APS TT kit.
I agree those are low hp numbers for a stroker kit motor. I've seen stock block VQ35HR's and especially VQ37's make more power and torque on pump gas no less at mild boost levels.
GrayFox370 displacement =/ power level you can have a 13 liter diesel but only 500hp yet there are 1000hp diesels with less displacement- not everyone knows what they’re doing.
Is there a pic of the dyno chart that is clear. I want to see the torque curve
Was it a wrap or paintjob? Love the color and need wrap name!!!!
Does sound a little deeper with the bigger holes. I was wondering about that.
I’m thinking about doing a stage 2 long block in my 370 sport how much do you think it would cost me to do a long block like you did if you don’t mind me asking
That spoiler!!! I need I wonder where’s I’d get, or how’d I’d make it, i don’t even know how to search for it
For about a $100 you could make your own. For $200 you could make it out of carbon fiber. If you want an extra 20 pounds added to your already heavy rear deck.
Nani?! That engine noise on site gotta be GLORIOUS.......
POSER
Okay so i’m seriously considering dropping a 3.7 vq in a 350z. If i buy the striker kit do i need to get anything done to the engine? and if so how much did that cost you?
Lmao. That red front and rear bumper color match job. How do you even drive in public looking like that?
damnn man what a car you build! how much money you spend mate? damnn good work tho
Do u mind asking you what red color is on 350z ?
Can anyone comment on the difficulty of working with Veilside? I would like to get a body kit from them once I secure myself a Z, but I feel like it would be a pain in the ass because they're based out of Japan.
It IS a clean ass Z!!! Very tastefully done. And I love that color. But why in the hell does the passenger keeps looking at you, like they don't know you're filming them??! 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤔
I thought the same 😂
Where do you go to get an interior overhaul like that?
I wish you knew the specific rims for that 350
My friend had a build almost exactly like that before he sold it. I'm almost 100% sure this was his car. Glad to see it is being well taken care of and built upon.
Hey Guys ,a question.
Anyone know how to tune a nissan fuga 450 G v8?
What spoiler is that? I want one exactly like it!
What rear diffuser is that?
Veil side Body kit
Try to beat ginger 350z from Coobcio Garage. 3.7L 1000HP
Lol you must live out by me north Scottsdale pinnacle peak and pima or Scottsdale rd shit hottest area ever to be doin pulls lol I got a warning from Scottsdale pd for street racing thank god the cop was coo racing a dude in a ctsv about a mile north of pinnacle peak ballsy rippin over there
did i hear u say get that dorito spinin??
I wish those headlights are smoke that would be a bad ass..
My z is currently getting a boosted performance kit stock 3.5L displacement and I’m shooting for 650ish... kind of waste to spend all that money stroking it for such a modest power level.
How is 700 crank hp modest ?
Needs to be wheel
Thats what i said got made becz i said he needed a new tuner and got made i didnt think the guy intentionally spent all that money for 600hp withe the turbos fuel upgrade and internals on a good tune he would have got that easy and saved 5k from cutting out a stroker kit
He built a car that is capable of 1000+ 600 is modest for that build
Maybe he was going for a effortless 600 hp instead of push 3.5 to its upper limits
dude whats going on with yer z its so floaty
But what year is it and how much was it?
Maybe the power is low because he wants it to stay reliable I can understand that most really high hp cars are always breaking
1/4 mile times would be nice to know.
Deadmeat reference
Pretty sure this guy bought the car off a guy in az because I used to see this car at pavs all the time
Now that's a z I'm bout to make that in forza 😂😂😂😂
Is that the stock etb?
Is it just me or am I the only one who can appreciate the car for what it is? And not feel the need to pick apart every detail about it for no reason, weather it makes 608 on 4.2l or if a shop built it or not who cares it’s a clean build. Car community is all about hating on everything. understand that’s the opposite of why I got into this hobby!
Some people like to document how unhappy they are in life with hate filled comments. That's why they are called haters. Deep down they are jealous their Z will never be as nice or powerful. Less than 1% can say they have build like this, but yet have all the answers to a proper build. Ridiculous actually.
Motordyne G35 precisely! They try and act intelligent with comments to boost there own ego but if anything it’s a great display of how unintelligent they are in doing so!
It depends on what you want. Do you want to please everyone else or yourself?
That thing is a sexy beast
Nice car for that price u get viper it will kill it
What body kit is this??
Turn that shit up!! Fully built push 900 and call it good 😆
where were his door handles?
Cavecreek - carefree
Bruh pulled the hustler out mid video😂
Nice build and great looking car but if I'm gonna bore and stroke a 3.5 vq to 4.2 litres with twin turbos and what one logically can assume a lengthy list of mods to said engines I wanna be pushing At least 1200hp... 600hp-700hp could be easily made even with one turbo... Still amazing car
Body kit link Ebay?
Is he on stock engine?
So basically he bought the car done already and didn’t build anything?
KingClevvv Isn’t it the same as getting a shop to build it for you. Some times not everyone has time to work on a car I don’t see anything wrong with it. As long as you are into cars to me it doesn’t matter if you built it or not
Luis Angel trueee you right tho but I thought he bought the car from someone else who had that as their project car
Not everyone has time = bla bla bla
@@msengineeringdavid3702 We aren't all living high off the hog. With cost of just being able to live always on the rise you have to make sacrifices, usually the little free time we have.
@@SpikeRazzor 100%. Some people don't have the time as many people like myself work 70+ hours a week or travel a lot for their job. What the hell is wrong with some of these people?
Mad Props on giving SAE # and not STD #, but why is it dynoed in 3rd gear???that not 1-1........
I wonder why he went with 350z instead of 370z. In the end it doesnt matter but would be interesting to know. Really nice build and in show car condition.
i'm assuming he already had a DE and just went with it. nobody in their right mind would dump this much money into a DE now that HR and 3.7 HR are so common and relatively cheap
@@VS666 DEs are more common and cheaper to build than HRs if u didn’t know, aftermarket support on DEs is astronomical compared to HRs, and also it doesn’t matter if it’s a DE or HR, it’s a built motor and that point which engine it is goes completely out the window. Any built engine can make the same power as another built engine.
Where’s the door handle I’m confused
1:24 that is not the sound of that car
It’s the sound of another G35 that was built and was reviewed by another channel.
Your car has 180k+ miles? Been looking hard at a 350/G35 but hard to find with low miles or in good shape. How do they hold up?
I paid 40k in 2005. Given there are plenty of documented vqs doing 300k, the price you are paying is dirt cheap. I would never buy new again. My 2017 Lincoln MKZ I bought with 100,000 miles. 100k miles is new to me.
