Steeda Q767 Mach 1 Mustang Testing at Bilster Berg Circuit in Germany - May 2023 - Wolfgang Weber

- We went to the famous Bilsterberg circuit in Germany with the first ever official European spec Steeda Q767 Mach 1 Mustang to put it through its paces, and get some setup information and do some testing and give Steeda Germany and the Fiege Performance team their first real taste of Steeda on track performance! Our pilot for the day was German suspension legend Wolfgang Weber, who knows so much about suspension and setup of race cars and cars in general (and bikes!) that he's written a huge book about it!
Sadly the day started off super cold and VERY wet, but the weather cleared up enough in the afternoon to give us a very brief window to pull out a single dry-ish lap. It really went down to the wire but our target time for the day was achieved and there was a LOT more left in the tank due to the conditions, the correct Michelin tyres (as our target tyres were unavailable at the time of the test) and also the further addition of a Steeda Magneride calibration to the car, to be tested this month!
Every other day the weather was lovely, as you can see from our intro section!
Thanks to:
Wolfgang Weber for his great driving

We Used HP Tuners cool "Track Addict" and "Race Render" software for the data logging and video creation, as well as HP TUners hardware for "on track" deployment of the Q767 "Power Pack" Tune.
This is the perfect Mustang!
Looks like we take the sunny weather in Florida for granted! Bilsterberg looks like a ton of fun, especially with a car like the Mach 1
yeah it is a super track... but it would be even better in the dry! 8)
Pretty cool I didn’t know Steeda had a shop in Germany!
for me the Mach1 from factory is an amazing car and will go down in history as one of the best MACH 1's ever if not the best.. Steeda just took it to another level!
Woohoo! What a great car!
Amazing Mustang! I’d like a more “angry” sound on it , though! Maybe long tube headers? I got the sound I wanted with that upgrade on my ex C6 Z07 Corvette! By the way, the test on the Nordschleife was sensational!
Thank you!
It looks like a very nice car to drive. There were about .5 seconds or more lost on the compromised exit onto the front straight as well.
For sure. Unfortunately due to a Michelin stock issue, we could only get CUP R tyres for the front and they never got up to temperature on the "one lap" shoot we had at the end, so they were not operating at all. You could see they were scrubbed to hell from the understeer after just a couple of laps whereas the CUP 2 on the rear worked perfectly. Still, the day was also about learning, and we knew the tyres were not the ones we wanted, so it was good to see what happened, and great to know the car will be even more hooked up with the new matching set of bigger CUP2s we just received for the car..... Nurburgring here we come! stay tuned for more!
Man to see that car do over 200 mph in the straightaway wow in that type of weather is absolutely awesome Ford has done a great job with this car and I don’t think this car is super charged.
its KPH on the data, but year its rocketing along nicely and its not supercharged, correct!
Corners.... And more corners.
(also kurz gesagt... ja!)
suspension parts list?

more for Leo
Shitty conditions, also I was hoping to see the HP cup 2 tires 315/305s to be used :(
We had the wrong tyres as well as the ones we wanted were not in stock at Michelin, so we had a mixed set in the wrong sizes.... plus it was too cold to actually get them up to temp....
The front CUP2 Rs were just scrubbed to pieces as they were never in the window....
Suspension needs some tuning! Speed 80 to 100 mph not to fast.
That rev counter and speedo look wrong
'promosm'
Please, it's properly called a Mach 1, not a mack 1. Thank you.
Thats how you say it in English. 8)
@SoundBoy808 - I will use the same explanation you Brits do in pronouncing "Jag-u-ar". That is the way the Jaguar company wants it pronounced and after all, it is their car. Well, Ford used the name Mach 1 for its Mustang performance model and pronounces it "mock", not mack - that is the name of another American product, the Mack truck! LOL
@@SoundBoy808 - Sorry, but that is not how I say it in English!
Nice car . Terrible colour
Tastes and colours cannot be discussed as my dad always says! Fighter Jet Grey! (in case you want to avoid it in the future!).. I wish they released the awesome mach 1 colours in Europe like Eruption Green and Mystic Purple....
@@SoundBoy808 My M3 is a similar color! (Fighter Jet Grey with Orange brake calipers!)
Hello from the states @ Road Atlanta!!!
@@KookoCraft I love Road Atlanta. I REALLY want to drive it when I visit Steeda HQ next....
@@SoundBoy808 Last week was my first time. It's a great track, but turns 2, 3, and 4 are pretty tricky!
Ford has more recalls than any company wouldn’t touch a new one.
Then why are you here 🙄
what a load of shit!
Ford still makes one of the best cars in the world and trucks too.
I wish you Brits would pronounce Mach correctly. 🤷♂️🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
well we invented the language, so I say we get to decide, haha!
